i couldnt careless about jeff, i never really liked the guy when he was on gamespot, he kind of urked me and hes kinda gross looking. but when he left, the whole cool part of gamespots staff left too and i like the giant bomb site as it has been, very honest and blunt, very unlike gamespot.

well brady hands down between the two. even though he had a great reciever moss, he got no where near the most passes from brady. and besides brady just broke the best single season nfl record- touchdowns. that is going to stick around a lot longer than mannings did. he is excellent, and the best

I don't see the big deal... Jeff gave stuff like Oblivion and every Halo game 9.5 with extra star and rainbow stickers. He's a total whore for the hype-train and I don't know why people expect his creation to be a refreshing place to go to. I'll still check it out, though :)MyopicCanadian

i agree, i never cared about him, infact i kind of was repulsed by him most of the time on this web site. always wearing tight shirts hes way too fat for. but even so, i like that site a lot

Wow, talk about taking this way too seriously. Sure this place sucks, but I only come here cause usually PS3 news hits this forum first and when I'm insanely bored. Also, why would I goto another site run by a former Gamespot virgin? One is enough for me. I don't need two places telling me how great Halo is...Denji

true man, thats the only reason i come here aswell. gamespot forum users are quick with their info.

i will most likely be going straight to Giantbomb's forums. i like the style of the website, its by gamers for the gamers kind of feel. hopefully we can be a little more expressive but they keep it moderated correctly. just hope there isnt excessive system wars there.

i couldnt careless about gerstmann either, i came across the site one day trying to find out about what happened to half of gamespot's staff, the cool part of the staff. and i found that site and i really liked it. its a much more personal and far more blunt and honest web site. when they preview games theyre not afraid to say hey, this game looks like crap so far. unlike gamespot which always ends previews on a positive note no matter what

Anyone bored yet? Been playing them since Doom..They hit their height with HL2 and CS:S which I still play sometimes..but come on..how about another genre occasionally devs? They are essentially all the same. Take out the FPS games from these lists and they get pretty skinny..

oldscratch82

yeah theres definitely a lot, but many are soooo great. besides, FPS isn't actually a genre, to me, its just a way in which you play the primary genre. so many different games on are made using FPS these days like action, to rpg. so uh, its just as versitile as third person just more immersive.

you could put the manual on the disc and have a digital manual. then it'd never get lost.

just a thought.

somesthetic

yeah well the manual has to contain information like how to play the game, meaning, how to put into the ps3 and so on. i dont know why but its probably written somewhere that there needs to be physical information like this.
