Did you just say "so much protection you can't get hurt"? The past NFL season saw guys break legs, tear ligaments, and even be paralyzed. If it wasn't for some miracle procedure, he would have been permanently paralyzed. American football is played by much stronger, more physical players at a greater speed with much greater impact. It cannot be compared in physicality to soccer.

If this were true, why has American Football been in Europe, Germany and Mexico since 1991. This year there will be regular season NFL games held at oversea staduims.
