Today I just got my first ever Platinum trophy. It was very time consuming. It came from Tom Clancys Hawx 2. Im currently working on the Final Fantasy XIII Platinum but I still need to get the Treasure Hunter trophy. I had to start a whole new game on FFXIII because I sold some of the weapons and accesories that I thought I didnt need. It turns out I needed to upgrade them and some ofthese accesories cannot be purchased at the shops. Well, Im currently 60+ hours into this second game and Im not selling any of my items this time. Still, this Platinum I just got from Hawx 2 is a major accomplishment and I am now more determined than ever to get the FFXIII Plat. As soon as I get this Platinum, I will let you guys know.

Im updating my profile in hopes that I get more views and comments. New avatar, updated my "About me" page, more game reviews and a new banner soon to come. Im now trying to devote more time to Gamespot and the forums. My profile hasnt had any life to it so Im hoping this will bring it more to life.Any other suggestions would be nice. I really appreciate any comments you may have.

Call of Dutys multiplayer has been bashed because of the amount of camping that players do. Battlefield Bad Company 2 has been praised as a great alternative because destructable buildings equal death for the camper. However, I encountered a stupid player who found out that he can be the Battlefield equivalent of a camper. What he did was hide at our teams main base, wait for someone to spawn and he would just pick them off. A very cheap way to improve your stats. I ended up getting shot multiple times trying to get off the base and into the mainfight. It was very frustrating. Whenever I finally killed him, he would just simply sneak his way back to our base and repeat. In the end, I just left the game because its hard to have fun and battle others on a virtual battlefield when you cant even get to the battle. Any of you guys have these issues? By the way, I love both Call of Duty and Battlefield Bad Company 2. Im not bashing BBC2, Im bashing the way some people play it.

According to a ranting Final Fantasy XIII hater on Youtube, Those who like FFXIII have destroyed the entire franchise. I liked FFXIII but since I did, the franchise is finished. How is this possible? Well apparently. those who liked the game are encouraging Square Enix to put out more crap like FF13. At least in his mind I guess. But anyway, I think those kind of comments are unfair and hurtful. Thats almost as bad as me telling you that your the worst generation in your family. You cant have a civil debate if your just going to throw smears at one another. Sure you can hate the game but dont hate the person who likes the game you hate. We all have our likes and dislikes but we have one thing in common and that is we are gamers. We shouldnt have to hate each other over what we like and dislike. If you like FFXIII, awesome then come and join me. If not, then you can continue hating. Just dont take hateful shots at the people who like it.

The other day, I was playing COD4 online free for allon the overgrown level. Ijumped off the bridge down to those riverbanks and I suddenly got shot. I look over were theshot came frombut I saw no one. I started scrambling to see if I can catch this person and get a shot but another shot hit me and that was the end of me. When it went to the kill cam I noticed this person was hiding inside the bank itself, like if he was underground. That made me disgusted. I went back to the same area and just fired awayat the side of the bank at random. I actually got him, but as soon as he respawned, he went back under and stayed there, I was never able to get him after that and he just kept on getting me. I decided to forget it and to just stay away from that area to avoid giving him free kills.

In the end, he was using a glitch to cheat and get free kills for himself or for his clans reputation. This made me mad and im going to do my best to avoid this level. Im just wondering, why hasnt Infinity Ward done something about it? Oh well, I just hope Modern Warfare 2 will be rid of these glitches. If anyone has had a similar problem, rant away here.

Ive been recently getting into online gaming and one of my favorites to play online is COD4 and Cod World at War. The perks that you can use are awesome. But there is one perk that apparently stands out from the rest and thats the Juggernaut. The Juggernaut is my favorite perk and I tend to use it on almost every custom class I make. The Juggernaut of course gives you more health.But when I play online, I sometimesget yelled at for using itby people with headsets. Ive been called a noob and worse. They should see the levels Im at. (39 on COD4 and 26 on WAW right now ) My levels show that Im am not a noob. I wished I had a headset so I can tell them that they can use the Juggernaut too.

In the end I can only think that they are just complaining because they are sore losers. They say, "I would have won if you werent using the Juggernaut." But hey, its just a game. I dont get why people have to make a big deal of it. Anyone else have these issues?

I know its been a long time since I posted a blog so heres a new one with my favorite RPGs. The list is in no particular order. I was thinking of a top5 list but all the ones Ive played are so good, I was not sure what to put at number 1. Anyway here they are.

Final Fantasy VII: I have to agree that this game has the best villian of all RPGs. Awesome story and music. Its just to bad that the copies that sell on the internet are so expensive now. I would like my own copy but I cant dish out $80 for a game. Sadness indeed.

Final Fantasy X: I got this game as a Christmas present a few years ago and I loved it. It was the first RPG I played and it turned me into an RPG fan. Originally, I was into shooters and driving games.The characters, story, and plots just kept me in. The battles with Sin are epic.

Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2: Whoever thought mixing Final Fantasy characters and Disney characters was a great idea. It might have sounded stupid at the time but Square proved it can be a great game. Definalty looking forward to Birth by Sleep on the PSP.

Chrono Cross: This game is one of the best rpgs on the Playstation. The ability to travel to different dimensions and up to 45 characters to recruit to your party plus the great story made it a great game. It left me with a lot of questions though. I can see why Gamespot gave it a 10. I recently completed this game for the first time and to be honest, I think its better than the Final Fantasy series in some cases. If your an RPG fan and have not played this game, try it out.

And thats my list. I am currently working on Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy IV. I am currently stuck on FF 8 and 9. I also ordered Final Fantasy Anthology which has FF 5 and 6 in it. I know these games have been out for a while but this is the first time Im playing them. Afterall I was only 6 years old when Chrono Trigger came out. I am looking forward to FF XIII on the PS3. So any reactions? What are your favorites?

Its been a long time since I wrote a blog post so I figured Id write one. I have never owned a next-gen system before but now I feel closer than ever to getting one. Now that I have secured a part-time job with a local super market company. I decided to put one of those new 80GB PS3s on layaway at Game Crazy. Its been on layaway for 2 weeks now and so far I have $125 on it out of the $400 total. I feel really excited right now because all of my friends own some type of next-gen console and Im sure many of you on Gamespot own one as well. My goal right now is to get it by Halloween. Its gonna come close. Sure I know that there are cheaper options like the 360 core and 20GB versions as well as the Wii. But I didnt get a 360 because of its red ring of death issues and I didnt get the Wii because its graphics are not as good as the PS3 and 360. I also have been a fan of Playstation since the PS1 days. In the forums, Id be called a "Cow". I have no idea were they come up with these nicknames but Im sure I would be called that. But I dont care. As long as Im satisfied with it, I will gladly continue to be a Playstation fan.

I logged on yesterday to see that Im missing 2 emblems. The old school emblem and the collecter emblem. Is this a glitch? I had these emblems for a long time and now they are gone. Does this have to do with the fact that I just made it to level 24? If it is a glitch, then I hope they will come back soon.

A few days ago I went down to the local DMV (Department of motor vehicles) to get a drivers permit. Im 19 so I figure its about time I try to get a permit which will lead to my drivers license. I meet the person who is responsible for that kind of stuff. I showed her my birth certificate and my social security card. She said that it wasnt enough and that I needed more information to make sure that Im really me. So I dig in my wallet and showed her my sheriffs ID which is a photo ID and she said that it wouldnt work because the county doesnt issue those anymore. At this point I was getting mad. So I said, these are not enough? You cant get much better than a social security card and a birth certificate. And she said no. I was about ready to yell at her but I held my tongue. Then she figured out that I was 19 and she said that If Im under the age of 21 then I have to bring my parents. I thought to myself what?!?!!?!?!. Then I left the place stunned. Apparently in the county were I live, your not and adult till your 21. I always thought that your an adult at 18. I can vote at this age and I can also die for my country at this age but I cant get a drivers permit without parental permission. I think this is totally ridiculous. Who else thinks so?
