Nomura also stated that he would like to include Kingdom Hearts characters if Disney would let him. If that happened, the roster would be huge! A must have game for me either way.
Looking good. I hope that they reveal more characters at the Tokyo game show. FF13 was a good game (despite what some picky fanboys say) so Im glad they have Lightning as a playable character.
From reading the comments, FF13 is a game you either love or hate. I know many old hands dont like the game due to its limited exploring. It sacrifices freedom of exploration for a faster story thats makes you focus on the issue at hand. I personally liked it because its more realistic this way. It would be more unrealistic to go on a bunch of pointless side adventures knowing that you could turn into a Cieth. Its the same thing in FF7, the world is about to end and a giant meteor is coming this way but wait, I think I will stop by the Golden Saucer and play a few games. The Final Fantasy stories tend to get off track with these features. FF13s story is more to the point and it encourages you to keep moving forward or something bad is going to happen. By the way, I like FF7. I didnt intend to bash it, I was just trying to make a point.
I dont know. I know that the first xbox will be remembered for making online multiplayer more mainstream among consoles. As for the 360, with its high failure rate (54 percent last I heard)and the failed HD-DVD format,I dont think its the best system ever. Its up there but not number one. For me personally, PS2 is number one. Dont ask me about SNES or NES or Genesis for I was only a toddler during those days, so I dont really have an opinion on those.
It might be the your using it to hard? Im still using the one that came with my PS3 and I bought my PS3 back in Oct. 2008.I have a 2nd controller that Ive been using for a year as well.No problems on my end.
I started with Terra first. Now Im currently doing Aquas story. I figured that I should do Ven last because I thought he might have the most interesting ending since he looks like Roxas and I did hear he has some sort of a connection with Roxas. But if you guys are saying that Nomura recommended Terra, Ven and Aqua, then I guess Im wrong. By the way, the game is awesome so far.
I got the game and I do like it actually. The story isnt as good as ACX but I still found it enjoyable. I guess this game was made to hold us over for Assault Horizan.
The PS3 not being backwards compatable is unfortunate but its a small gripe for me. I still have a PS2 and I play PS2 games on that one. Im loving my PS3 right now. Im using a newer 80GB model. But I do think the phrase "It only does everything" is misleading. Im suprised that this topic hasnt been locked by a moderator yet because this looks more like a system wars topic.
