you need a new cpu before spending more on the gpu. since you said you got no increase from the new card that means you are cpu limited. more ram could help but a doubt it will make much difference with that cpu. The 9400gt should run new games around medium settings fine at 1280 x 1024 or lower. here are some good parts for a cheap upgrade http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103714 athlon 2 240 $55 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138124 motherboard $60 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231085 1gb ram x2 $46imprezawrx500
Thanks. I will go ahead and try the anthlon 2 240. The only problem is that Im not much of a tech geek and I only know how to install the RAM and PCI video cards. Can you provide a link or something that shows how to install it?

Is there a PCI video card that you would recommend? Or should I try to get more RAM first?

I recently bought a EVGA PCI Nvidia GeForce 9400 GT 1GB DDR2 to upgrade from my last PCI video card which was an EVGA Nvidia GeForce 6200 DDR2 256MB. I thought I was finally going to run games like Battlefield 2 on the high video settings. However, there is little improvement in performance and it still recommends the default settings on low. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need more RAM? Do I need to reinstall the game. Your help would be appreciated. My computer specs:

Dell Dimension 2400

Windows XP

Intel(R) Celeron(R)

CPU 2.40 GHz 2.39 GHz,

1GB of RAM

The stock video card was weak so thank goodness for the PCI slots.

My PS3 also froze while playing U2, twice. Fortunatly, I didnt get YLOD though. Then again, my PS3 is the 80GB model and Ive had it for a year. I turned off the PS3 and let it sit for an hour to cool down and it started right back up like normal. Im just wondering, is Uncharted 2 way to amazing even for the PS3 to handle? Hehe, just joking, but my PS3 froze only once before I got U2, now it froze twice during play.

It will probably get its share of nines and 9.5 and possibly an editers choice award form GS. By the way, why are there so many MW2 haters? I must be one of only few PS3 people here that is actually looking forward to this game.

Nothing wrong with that. My favorite Wii game is still Super Smash Brothers Brawl and that has been out for nearly a year and a half or so.

Thats why I never got the Go, its because you have to download your games and there is no UMD drive. I worked hard to get my 2 dozen or so PSP games in their original UMD format, Im not gonna give them up for the Go.

Not to much is known about this game. I was hoping that there would be more info about it at the Tokyo Game Show but Square has been pretty quiet about this game, along with Final Fantasy versus XIII. So I guess we will just have to wait a little longer.
