My retro wish list is not all games but also a particular console. The NES top loader. I have quite a few NES titles but my regular NES is going through that blinking light and it wont play games properly. I did buy a new 72-pin connector and it worked great for the first week but it slowly went back to were it was at before. As for games, the following games I want for NES: Tetris, Mario Bros. 2, Final Fantasy, Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr. What I want for PS1: Tomb Raider 3 (Since I already have TR 1,2 and The Last Revalation), Twisted Metal, Command and Conquer Red Alert Retaliation, Colony Wars, Wipeout, Colin Mcrae 2 and Warhawk.

BF2 is awesome in my opinion, but it is different from COD. In Battlefield, its really like a battlefield. The maps are big and up to 24 players online. It focuses heavily on strategy and teamwork is a must. No free for all mode like in COD but I found it equally as enjoyable as COD. Plus you can drive vehicles such as Humvees, tanks and Helicopters.
I do. The only reason I started collecting games is because whenever I traded a game in as a kid, I start to miss playing them and regret trading them in. That eventually morphed into game collecting for me. I currently have 55 PS3 games, over 50 PS1 and over 100 PS2 games. I seek to collect PS1 games as well but getting PS1 games is tougher because they are older and harder to find, especially the ones in good condition. I also make sure that they all have their original case and manual.
I dont know, I havent been disappointed with this year. At least with the games Ive purchased and I purchased a lot of 2010 games. Heres the games I purchased in 2010 in chronological order:
Battlefield Bad Company 2 (PS3)
Final Fantasy XIII (PS3)
Just Cause 2 (PS3)
Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep (PSP)
Ace Combat Joint Assault (PSP)
Tom Clancys Hawx 2 (PS3)
Medal of Honor (PS3)
Resonance of Fate (PS3) I still have yet to complete this one.
COD: Black Ops (PS3)
Gran Turismo 5 (PS3)
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit (PS3)
I guess the only ones I would find at least mildly disappointing is Medal of Honor and Hawx 2. Overall, Im quite pleased with what this year brought me. As for FFXIII and GT5, I think many people are disappointed with it because they were so long in development and because of that, people were expecting FFXIII to be the FFVII killer while GT5 was expected to be the best racer ever. But when they turn out to be an average but good game, these people who were expecting to much are turned into haters. I usually learn to like a game for what it is, not for what I want.
Heres my favs.
Crisis Core FFVII
Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep
Dissidia Final Fantasy
Ace Combat X
Gran Turismo
I think these are good games but it depends on your preference. Like RPGs, then the first two are for you. Like fighters, then Dissidia is a good choice, like flying games and jets, play Ace Combat X. Like driving games, then GT is a respectiful choice but if your more into arcade like racers, Burnout Legends is a good one.
PSP 1000 with the regular piano black color. As long as it still plays games I dont intend to upgrade anytime soon. Plus the PSP Gos lack of a UMD drive turned me away.
I have two memory sticks and they dont hold much. A 256MB and a 128MB memory sticks. I only use them for game saves. PSP memory sticks are expensive.
Whoever said that PS3 will be remembered because of Call of Duty is wrong. Its more of a 360 title while it got ported for PS3. Anyway, I like the PS3 and is definitly my favorite current gen console. But I believe that the PS2 is the best system ever. Huge and diverse library and lots of its games had such a high fun factor. With PS3, you can have incredible acheivements but the feeling is not the same. But I do think the PS3s greatest days still has yet to come, so dont give up on it yet because its not at the end of its life and loads of games still have yet to come out.
I dont think its underrated. I love the game but I must admit that its not perfect. My biggest gripes are the standard and prenium car differences. You can put a standard and prenium model next to each other and the differences are astounding. The standard cars have jagged edges and look bland. But then again I guess it would have taken another 5 years to build those other 800 standard cars from the ground up to make them like the prenium ones. I also have a gripe with some of the tracks. The city courses look great but the courses that feature plant life such as the Nurburgring, (Pardon me if I spelled it wrong, Im not German) the trees and grass look a little PS2 like. But overall, I like the game and I think with all its features, its the best GT game. I was just not blown away like I thought I would be.
