get a Wii insteadRigga911

I own a PS3, and Wii, and DS, and PSP, and had a 360. And gaming PC.

I get this magazine called Gameinformer for free for some reason every month (I never did subscribe and never did pay).

At any rate, in my opinion, the Gameinformer Editor-In-Chief, Andy McNamara, seems a little like an XBoxPhile.

The last two issues, if I remember correctly, seemed to pronounce the PS3 dead...I don't have the issues otherwise I would reference the statements, my apologies.

This month's issue has the heading under God of War 3: "...After you see our world-exclusive first reveal of Kratos' next adventure, it'll be easy to believe in the PlayStation 3 again..."

Which clearly implies that Gameinformer felt that the world had lost all belief in the PS3.

Based on the earlier statements in the magazine, it just seems like they bet their credibility on the "fact" that "duh...EVERYBODY knows the PS3 sucks and failed" and know they are realizing they may have to retreat a little?

I dunno...it's hard for me to make a case without the past issues in front of me. It's just a vibe that I get from Gameinformer that I don't get from other gaming sites/gaming magazines.

The review staff seems pretty fair and balanced...but the editorial/sidebar comments/even some interviews seem to have a 360 defensive slant.

Just my two cents. Does anyone else have any thoughts about this?

Oh wait, I know why...

I preordered it last month and got it today, my first preorder. I didn't buy it because it's Halo, but I like the game. It was totally worth the extra $10AUD, a comic, flaming warthog, honor guard wraith, leader cards, stupid patch and most importantly, the 3 Mythic maps, and it come in a tin case too. But 1 thing that hold me back is my Xbox 360 RROD'd few days ago, so I can't play it until December(where I get my new Xbox). Srry but I just want to share the news.stevoqwerty
