Ouendan Vs. Daigasso! Band Brothers

Hi there, I recently posted a thread asking if anyone needed a review reccomendation.  Someone asked for Ouendan! Vs. Daigasso! so here it is, enjoy!

Osu Tatakae Ouendan and Daigasso! are both phenominal games and one isn't better than the other.

Ouendan is deffinately the game that has more happening, the concept idea of male cheer leaders is truly riveting and spectacular.  The difficulty is steep and challenging, but you get used to it eventually.. :P

there are only 15 stages in Ouendan, but all of them in my opinion make me want to keep on playing them just to hear the great music.

You deffinately see much more Japanese type ethic in this game compared to Band Bros.

In Daigasso! You have in my opinion, not much of a color pallet or even a storyline.  This game is truly for people that are familiar with DDR or rhythm games like DDR.

The reason why I bring that point up is when you turn on Daigasso! and when you turn on Ouendan! Ouendan sounds, looks and completely throws you into this surreal jolt of energy, while Daigasso! doesn't.

Keep in mind that this my opinion and that I am not always right.

The gameplay of both games are both addictive.  I beleive that Ouendan is more innovative.  Daigasso! has more of a straight forward approach that has a easier learning curve while Ouendan has taken me under a week just to almost complete normal.

It's really your call, but if you import both, they are both gems and diamonds in the rough.

I got my copies off www.yesasia.com for a reasonable price.

Perfect Idea.

I think it would be hilarious, although there are Japanese people who do it.  I would absolutely love to make an outfit that looks identical to the ones in the game itself and perform my own actions to the songs that are already in Ouendan.

And also it would be fun to do Ouendan for DDR music or something.

haha.

I have the perfect idea.  Ever since I started playing Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! 5 days ago, I have always loved the cheer leaders and their funky dance moves.

I beat Ouendan on easy!!!

WOOT! I own! I'm finally getting better each time I play Ouendan! although I got a C on REady Steady Go! and have two more difficulty levels, I'm sure i'll get it :D Woot!

I LOVE FROOT LOOPS!! erm.. sorry, got carried away there a little bit. hehe

Games that should be remade

Hopefully Nintendo will come to their senses and hone the mighty power of the DS to make a new version of chrono trigger which won't mess with the story or gameplay, but more like a touch up like they're currently doing with FF III.  How about even a port of Chrono Trigger.

Super Metroid was an amazing game no matter what.  They should absolutely put it on the ds with a smart way of 3d side scrolling.  Same Idea as Megaman X8, but correcting all the flaws with the format.

How about a REAL, JUICY Lunar game which has voice acting, characters that make sense, how about the sequel to Lunar II?

The DS needs a good Animated RPG and I think another Lunar gamr done correctly will do just fine.

F-Zero DS would be incredibly incredible if they can manage the high paced controls without the stick.  Put it on Wi-Fi and oyu got yourself a sweet package.

Kirby Superstar +++

Kirby Superstar was incredible for SNES and if they were to add more to it with extra modes and even more new kirby games to it, new touch screen capabilities, Wi-fi match for the Arena mode, OMG it would be insane.

Super MArio All Stars +++

Same idea for Kirby.

Super Smash Bros 64 + on the ds with new characters and courses with online mode for tournaments and meele matches.  Also it would have to be a little better than the n64 graphics if they are able to do that.

A new donkey Kong for DS would be great, Like DK64, but with the old side scrolling aspect which made the game so original.

Band Brothers 2

this would be a great north american launch with more modes and songs.

Man I have so many other ideas, but I can't write them down all now, I have to think of more.!!!

DS will reign supreme..

DS and PSP

Here is the history with my ds and psp.  I got my ds at launch of december 04 and was happy with it.  My brother was very judgemental towards nintendo since gamecube and he always bashed anything I liked; so did his friend..

I started looking at the psp and saw how much better it was and then I traded in my DS... with FTM XX/XY, Mario 64 ds, Asphalt urban GT.

I now have my psp and im happy with it.  My bat mitzvah was nearing and I was getting my psp as my bar mitzvah gift from some family members.  With money and gift cards and an immature, blind impulse for shopping, I probably was buying game after game after game until I had like 13 psp games and some of them I didn't even rent or read up on to see if I would like them...  later on I traded in 6 of those games and got some money back.

Now moving all the way to september 05.  I was starting to get tired of my PSP and I decided to re buy a pre-owned DS for 100 $ Us and have been happy ever since.

Now with both systems in my collection, I realize that there are alot more games that are great for DS then PSP, but I find that when I get into a PSP game, I'm hooked for like 30-40 hours and when i'm done with it, I go right back to my DS.

Right now i have 12 games for my DS, and there are like 12-18 games that are either out now which I'll puchase over the days to come or will soon be out in a year or a half year.

Well I might be reambling on, but It feels good to talk about my gaming and all.
