My black 120gb elite 360 rrod this week, my 3rd rrod 360. Combine that with the fact I only bought halo 4, ODST and gears 2 in the last 5 years for 360 and i have no reason to own an xbone. Also microsoft lost 5 console sales from our household due to all the shit they tried to pull at e3. And that is the general feeling among nost people i talk to about the next consoles.

Buying a PC comparable to consoles defeats the point of buying a PC lol. I spent £1300 GBP on a PC in 2011 and im sure the PS4 will be capable of similar performance for a fraction of the price at £350. A $600 PC performing on par with $400 next gen consoles just isn't happening. Your simply not factoring the benefits of a closed system and custom hardware consoles use. You must be getting some top tier hardware for your american dollars.

I paid for xbox live back in 2006/2007/2008 when Halo was relevent and xbox live was superior to PSN. 2008 onwards PSN continued to improve and offered almost an identical experience to xbox live but for free. I couldnt justify paying to play my games online anymore. I honestly dont understand how anyone can justify paying to play online when its free on every other platform. Fanboys lol no games and pay to play multiplayer yet theyre still loyal.

As a console and pc gamer I can safely say console gaming will be the highlight of 2013. Well Ps3 console gaming at least, Last of Us, Beyond Two Souls and Ni No Kuni in particular. From that list only Starcraft 2 is even remotely interesting. I will also get Crysis 3 on pc and the superior multiplats.

Halo has lost its identity. Halo 4 wants so badly to be call of duty that it has betrayed everything halo 3 achieved. After hundreds of hours in halo 3's masterclass multiplayer, the cod cloning casualisation of halo 4's multiplayer is the biggest dissapointment in gaming this gen. Even worse than final fantasy 13 and worse even the resident evil 6. It betrays its roots and becomes another generic shooter. I can safely say I wont play this past my 14 day live trial. Halo now has:

Cod Perks

Cod Experience/leveling up system

On top of this halo 4 requires no skill with a BR or nades, no real teamwork or map positioning. Partly due to the worst pool of mulitplayer maps in halo history all people play is Ragnarok btb lol. But its mainly due to the plethora of mass destruction weapons which break the gameplay and flow of battle. Three things that really piss me off also are lack of ammo without cod perk, cant pick up grenades without cod perk lol, and why do ghosts have infinate boost haha so annoying. I got my 360 out for the first time since ODST hyped for halo 4 and instead it failed and now my 360 gets put away indefinately since the 360 has nothing more to offer now that its one game a year has been released and dissapointed.

Halo 4 multiplayer is now cod multiplayer. Kill cam, loadouts, ordinance drops (killstreaks), spartan ops lol. Its a betrayal of everything halo 3 achieved. Halo 4 is living off halo 3's master class. Killzone 2/3 hammer halo 4 as stand alone titles but factor in halo 3 and the halo franchise hammers killzone. And somebody already mentioned this but this is the worst pool of maps in a halo game. All I play is Ragnarok in btb for obvious reasons. And what is with all the mass destruction weapons. No skill involved in halo anymore i'll be packing my 360 away indeffinately after my 14 day live trial runs out.

So I get my 360 out for the first time since ODST hyped about playing halo 4 and i simply cant play my £40 pound game. I start a campaign watch the opening cut seen and get returned to the main menu. I try playing with friends and it says failed to load conent and puts me back at the main menu. What a pile of **** And im on my 3rd xbox now thanks to RROD. So I try halo 3 and gears 1 both work fine. What is the deal here anybody else with any problems.

Uncharted 2, Metal Gear Solid 4 or Dark Souls top 3 games this gen.

No it doesnt have a game on par with halo. The tablet controller is a gimmick. I mean how many times in the wii's lifecycle were motion controls implemented creatively or innovatively or even improved on a standard controller? The wiiu tablet will be the king of party games and mini games and all manor of shovleware. I mean if inventory organization and maps are the best ideas for the second screen then it has to fail.
