@EL_Bomberdor This time they're not trying to match Sony, but to satisfy a bunch of whining people scared about NSA and thoses that were like "I'll buy an Xbox if they do this" that aren't really buying the Xbox anyway

@MJ-X Because people would go mad and jump to the PS4? I mean, seriously, a lot of people are buying the console just because of the changes. Imagine how many Xboxes would be bricked since many people aren't constantly online? It's not only about geting customers, but about maintaining them.

@Slade968 @Adavanter Before you had to have your Kinect pluged on the console in order to turn it on. You had the option to turn it off but not to unplug it.

@MjnE They're not shoving it up your ass, it's like bundling every device with a controller.

@deershadow They did that in case you're paranoid about a camera watching you or your have some problem with the device. Kinect comes bundled so it will get developer support. The idea of Win8 apps running on the Xbox with the Kinect turning your TV on a big screen tablet/PC is promissing.

@Geminon That's because they aren't risking. They took PS3 and upgraded the hardware, it's easy to focus on that.

@komuchen Because then a small part of the consumers will have the Kinect and the developers will be afraid to develop for with. PS4 Camera will probably fail because of that: consumers waiting for developers and developers waiting for consumers.
