Besides 'Old', 'Spiteful' and 'Sneering' being a few words that describes Luca and his attitude towards the slowest cars I think a word beginning with 'C' and ending in 'T' that's too explicit to mention is another word to describe our dear Mr. di Montezemolo. ;)

After free practice and qualifying the Peugeot's are out in front the and Audi's are lagging behind by some bit. They'd better be sand-bagging or else.....

Aero however, we still haven't found a silver bullet and the more we change it the more the teams spend and the more the problem will get worse. The regulations need to be freer, with a possible re-introduction of tunnels, or ground effect which produces far less drag and far less wake which should allow closer racing. Who knows.

Also bring back refueling. (and the Ferrari V12 *drool*)

Though what engine cap would like your V12 to be? Current capacity which I doubt would be any reliable, 3.0L or even the old 3.5L Formula from nearly two decades ago?

Also, not so sure if "ground effect" would allow closer racing.

Oooh I do love the thought of fatter rear tyres. But at the same time wouldn't that increase the rear track of the car by some bit?

Edit: Hold on a sec. They mean rim diameter? Silly Autosport! Width should not be confused with diameter. That was horribly misleading.

Since it looks like everyone is either having troubles with their image hosting site or cannot be arsed to design something I'll be first to share my idea. Here's a slightly unfinished race track design I came up with recently.

I haven't decided a name for it and apart from the first sweeping right hander called "Thunderbird" I haven't got any names for the other corners either.  And one more thing. It was originally 1440x800 pixels but Photobucket has scaled down the size of the image so what you see here is not the full size image.

Mediocore. That's how I sum up the opening round of this year's championship.
