DO NOT BUY A PS3 UNTIL NOV 2. There's just been a price drop. Go to google and search for PS3 news.

$399 for 40 GB and $499 for 80GB (other feature changes too).

I just bought a 60GB for $499 2 days ago, but it's through Best Buy so I get to return it due to their 30-day customer satisfaction policy.

Aside from that, PS3 is worth every penny, Blu-Ray player alone closts that much.

I mean, yes, the PS3 is obviously harder for developers to utilize right now. But like any new tech, there is always a learning curve involved & once devs really get their heads around the Cell processor & the way the pipelines & architecture of the PS3 is set up, they should be able to do some really great things on the system. It's just growing pains.
