ok heres my new rig im hoping

amd athlon 64 x2 dual core 3800+ or 4600+ socket am2

asus m2n4-sli socket am2 940

1gig ddr 2 ram

geforce 7300 256mbb pci express card

 well thires a rough idea of what im gona get any changes u might want to ask please let me know

so would it not matter getting the 3600+ or even 3800+ and is it safe to overclock the proceor even thou it still under garuntee? i dont have experince with overclocking but would like to lern

well thires a ECS NForce4M-A mortherborad  and a ASUS M2N4-SLI thire both the same its just the ASUS Gigabit Lan and SPDIF out but a bit more expencive than ECS NForce4M. and thire have amaxuim of 8GIG DDR 2 ram  storage

Well now that i know that the AMD athlon core dual x2 4600+ is better than plentuim D 3.2ghz  i will buy AMD and it should be ok Gaming right aslongs as i have DDR 2 Ram.

well the highest one i will only buy for under 100pound is athlon core dual x2 4600+ or plentium D 3.2 ghz its runs a socket 775 so if i wanted to upgrade to core duo 2 i could.

What about single cores AMD Athlon 64? what about them fro gaming i dont realy want intel anymore lost instrest realy

Right guys i need your help, I need to know if a AMD athlon 64 x2 dual core 3800+ is ideal for gaming its currently my 1st time with a AMD as im currnty using plentium 4 2.4ghz and i herd recenlty that AMD is better for gaming perfromance. so any help would be great thanks
