resistance 1 and 2. especially co op on resistance 2. cod 4 is up there. killzone 2, halo and gears and mw2 are all garbage. orange box and bioshock are up there also.

R1 was ok because it was one of the only good fps's on the ps3, but it was too generic. R2 was a total failure IMOI think you're confusing "generic" with "boring".
No, I'm no fan of the controls and I found the first person cover system pointless. From what I remember, the cover sysem only worked for low (crouch) pillars.
The last three CoD games outsold all the Halo games. They also were all on 3 or more systems.
Fans of CoD will pay for a sub fee I'm sure. I wouldn't say it's out of bias, ignorance, or stupidity, but because they like CoD! I pay for stuff that I like all the time!!!Should not be a surprise when other people do it too.
No offense to MGS fanboys but MGS: Rising's sword play looks extremely boooorring so imma go with DT.The best part is the man who created Ninja Gaiden will be behind it so all is good.
I think the biggest problem with the resistance series is it just did not separate itself from the rest of the shooters out there enough.

Well they seem to be putting more work into 3.
They where not happy with the response/sales of 2.
Its getting a longer development.
That and their friendly rival Naughty Dog upped the gamewith U2. This was the first time I can remember a Naughty Dog game eclipsed a Insomniac game at release.
I always found the Crash games to be more appeal than the Spyro games so for me it wouldn't be the first time.
I don't know what the standard of the best MP is suppose to be but it's definitelymy favorite MP shooter of all time and def prefer it over MW2. There's too many air support in MW2,and the map layout don't really appeal to me which kind of killedthe gamefor me.
