First let me describe how my school is laid out. Leesville Road is one of those schools were the elementary, middle and high school are all connected. Now that you know this I can tell you what happened. Appartently a student at the middle school reportedly had a bomb in his locker, this was found out a little after 11 o'clock. Once the school administration was informed they evacuated the middle school. Around 11:30 they decided the highschool and elementary school would be evacuated as well. During the evacuation of the high school I was off-campus for lunch at Bojangles. My friend who was with me was texted by one of his friends that there was a bomb threat and this is how we found out. So we finished lunch and made our way back to the school only to find that the school was blocked off and all cars coming back from lunch were being stopped. So instead of waiting we took off for my friend's house. The whole time we were there I kept getting calls from other friends letting me know what was going on, things got serious for a little while when it was rumored that explosives had been found. After 45 minutes I got word the school was being reopened. Fortuantly, the threat was a hoax. This is the 2nd bomb threat we've had in 3 years. Most bomb threats are hoaxs and im glad this one was as well. It was pretty nice to have an 1:40 minutes for lunch though.  You can read my local news station coverage of the story below.

So Im bored as hell sitting here listening to music so I thought I'd post a blog.  First off, Im level 23 now but you probably know that seeing as it says it right under my name. 

So whats new with me?  Well its getting to that point in school year where you just want to skip the next month and half and get to summer but of course your teachers bombard you with assignments and projects plus I've got the SAT in May which Im REALLY looking forward too. :roll:  Prom's this Saturday, unfortuantly Im not going, I waited a little too long to ask anyone and I really don't want to go with someone I've never even met (which was attempted to be arranged.)  Though I'd love to go its not the end of the world, Senior Prom will come next year.  

Im also in the midst of a couple basketball leagues, I've joined an AAU team that includes many of my varsity teammates from this past year and Im also 6 games into another league.  After 6 games we stand only 3-3 which is pretty disappointing considering were defiantly one of the better teams in the league.  We've lost 2 games by 1 point however.  Though were only 3-3 we just came off a 97-63 victory this past weekend.  I had 17 points in the first half before severly spraining my ankle.  I would have easily gone for at least 30.  Fortuantly the ankle has healed pretty well and I should be able to go this weekend when we play a double header.  The league has a website that has all the records, unfortuantly it doesn't have the points per game like it did last year.  I don't have the url for the site right now but I'll get it and I'll post it on my blog later.  I'll be sure to keep you guys updated on my team's progress.

My union is doing well, over 520 members right now and still growing.  Im going to try and get some time to really work on some things to improve it this weekend.

Im also considering of changing my gamertag from Zabuza15 to Ghost Warrior, let me know what you think of that change.

So today I turned 18.  The day was spent mostly with family, all my friends are on vacation for spring break so Im going to plan something with them when they're all in town.  Since I didn't ask for anything in particular I ended up getting a whole lot of money, $325 to be exact.  Like I said the day was spent mostly with my family, I went out to dinner with them but then I had a basketball game later that night.  I've been playing ball for a long time now but I've never had the opportunity to play on my birthday.  Unfortuantly, we lost but we were without two of our best players.  I did lead my team with 25 points and even though we lost it was still a lot of fun.  Overall it was a good day.

Leveled up once again, didn't take long at all compared to what level 20 took.  I need to find some more things to blog about though, seems the only things Im ever posting are when I level up.  Then again, no one really reads these so whats the point? :P  Oh well, maybe I'll start doing some more blogs, maybe not.
 

If you asked me how long it took me to get through level 20, I wouldn't be able to tell you.  Maybe 3-4 months?  Thats a total guess.  But it was a long time.  Well finally I can say Im out of the dreaded Level 20 and into Level 21 or Rescue Ranger as its called.  Hopefully this one goes a little bit faster than Level 20 did.
 

So over 3 years later I reach 3000 posts, kind of crazy to think I've stuck around at one site for so long but Gamespot is a great site.  Not really much else to say, I'll be getting out of Level 20 hopefully soon, I think I've been stuck at it for a couple months now.  So whats next, 4000 posts?  Only time will tell.
 

So no blog in a long time, I really haven't had time to sit down and write one, well now I do so heres whats going down.

Most of my time has been on school and basketball and whats left is spent here or doing other free time activities like playing my 360.  Been playing whatever game I feel like playing trying to pass the days until Christmas when hopefully I'll be getting Gears of War and College Hoops 2k7.

Like I said, school and basketball have taken up most of my time and considering you don't want to hear about what I do at school I thought I'd update you on how my basketball team is doing.  Its been tough season so far, we've been in every game we've played but unfortuantly haven't been able to finish them out.  We've had 4 overtime games, only 1 of which we won and that was in double overtime.  One of our OT games went to triple OT.  We've also lost one game by 1 point, and another by 3.  The good news is all those losses were non-conference, meaning they don't matter when it comes to making the playoffs and thats defiantly a goal of ours.  What matters for the playoffs is our conference and that got kicked off last night.  We opened the conference at home with a 29 point win over Enloe High School.  Unfortuantly I can't show you the scores or roster for my team because my local paper now requires you to register at their site in order to view their content.  As for what I did to contribute in that win, well that would be 3:30 minutes with 1 steal, 2 rebounds and 0-1 shooting.  Yes, Im a bench warmer, seniors get the PT and juniors and underclass men sit (unless they are Michael Jordans).  Still would whoop your ass though.:D  Hopefully this win can turn us around, Enloe is a good team but not the best team in the conference.  I'll keep you up to date when I get a chance.

Nothing really else to say, my family is looking at TVs, were looking at a 42'' Samsung Plasma that looks really nice, hopefully we can have that by Christmas.  Also, I'd like to throw in that the union leveling bug may finally be getting fixed, my union The Triple A went from 62% (which it has been for months) to 64% (I know, its a huge gain.)  Maybe if you joined you could add some more percent to that number.  Thats it for now, thanks for reading if you actually did.
 

So I got level 18 a couple days ago which took me awhile to get and now im already at Level 19.  Not sure how this leveling system works but im not complaining. :D

Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce the still unemployed, almost gone gothic 17 year old gamer/athlete. That pretty much sums it up for me right now. That job I was hoping to get at Harris Teeter is not going to work out, turns out they need people to work on Saturday and Sunday and I can only work Saturday. So Im going to go to my other local grocery store, Lowe's Foods and see what they're up too. As for my thoughts of pulling out the all black and listening to songs like "Stab my Heart because I Love You" in my car thats because my Carolina Panthers came way too close to going 0-3. As you can see above, Im keeping their record up there for the whole season and im hoping to add some numbers to the win column. Today they played the Tampa Bay Buccanears and all looked good when it was 20-7 Carolina but of course my Panthers have to scare me ****less by letting the Bucs come back and take the lead. Thank God the Panthers kicker John Kasay (who looks strickingly similar to my neighbor across the street) was able to kick the winning field goal. So the season is totally lost as the Panthers are now 1-2 playing much better than they were before. Plus Steve Smith is back.

I haven't been gaming too much lately especially on my 360. I have only 2 games, PGR 3 and Oblivion and although I've been playing PGR 3 lately Im really wanting a new game. Of course I don't want to buy a new one until I got some cash flow going (aka need a job) and until that happens im going to use some self-control and hold off. Im going to try to stay on Gamespot as much as I can but basketball workouts are starting to get underway and even though answering countless topics about broken 360s and who would in a fight between the Master Chief and Sam Fisher is very important, making the basketball team is much more important. Tryouts are probably November 1st and if I make the team that will be taking up a lot of my time. But until then I'll be here daily. And thats it, if your still reading then you must be just as bored as me. :P
