Well you have the right idea to test with other memory. Your best bet would be find someone with a computer who's pretty nice to let you yank their RAM..(provided its compatible with yours.) You might be looking at a malfunctioning mobo as well, I would say get the latest VIA drivers for it...other than that, I've never heard of OC2 ram? If thats the manufacturer, then its definately not a reputable one.

The video card is where its at when you're talking about gaming. RAM comes in second, followed by CPU. (In most cases.)

This could get messy. Are we talking about a laptop? If so I would wager it uses a SATA harddrive which means youll have to get a USB floppy drive, and burn the SATA drivers from the manufacturer cd to a floppy disc just so XP will recognize there's a harddrive...But to get XP going, load your XP cd, boot up the PC, and it should say Press any key to boot from cd... If not, I'm afraid you have to load your BIOS at startup (Usually tells you press F2 or F5 or whatever to enter settings at startup depending on your pc), and find your boot order and tell it to boot your cd drive first.

Yeah I dont see how hard it is

bamafan1434

Not an easy task. They have to pay programmers to write patches for games that aren't going to make them any money. So no, they don't really care all that much, their eyes are towards the future.

If WindWaker didn't flop I'm sure Phantom Hourglass will sell out.

Out of all the Call of Duty's so far, I found United Offensive to have the worst multiplayer. I'm not sure there was ever a game I played where the vehicles added more fun or depth rather than annoyance and cheapness. The only thing I found enjoyable about UO was that the maps were made a lot bigger, instead of the close quarter fragfest the game was online. IMO Call of Duty 3 really got the multiplayer right, so I'm really excited for CoD4 :D.

Sadly enough, the game I've played absolutely most is Resident Evil 4. And I already beat it to death on PS2. Come on Wii! Lets get cracking on some games with more depth, they're few and far between.

[QUOTE="Ghostchant"][QUOTE="Duckman5"]

[QUOTE="Ghostchant"]Personally I've really hated the Metroid series since it went FPS. That's the last thing I think of when I think of Metroid. Also, they've been going kind of weird with Zelda, I played through WindWaker and was kind of disappointed I did, and once I turned into a wolf for a third time in Twilight I realized I didn't want to play the game ever again. Sorry, I play Zelda to be Zelda, not a stupid wolf.Haziqonfire

It's not FPS it's First Person ADVENTURE.

Ok if we're splitting hairs it's First Person GARBAGE.

Ha, Garbage :roll: please. Btw, you dont play as zelda. you play as link, And both twilight princess and wind waker were good games.

Read my next post right after.

[QUOTE="Blk-Gnome"][QUOTE="Duckman5"][QUOTE="Blk-Gnome"]

[QUOTE="Duckman5"]I wasn't telling you to do anything. :| Just don't complain about them.Duckman5

i can complain if i choose, i dont understand where people think they can just throw some ones opinion out for no reason. you just completly called him crazy and dismissed him.

i would understand if its a raving fanboy, but he was here to post and add to the discussion.

Calling it garbage was total flamebait even if it was unintentional. It was bound to happen.

he wasnt running around like a ravid fanboy or troll, be the bigger person and get over it.

i love metroid prime 3, its one of the two best games ive played this year...but hes entitled to his own opinion and i respected that.

hell people call halo names all the time, learn to lack past it, or ask them to explain their view.

He's not even posting anymore it's just you that keeps continuing this pointless conversation. Again I didn't say he was a raving fanboy or anything like that but his comment was bound to get a harsh reaction and it did not a big surprise. It didn't even involve you so I don't get why your trying to preach to me or something.

Hello...I've been posting...I actually have Metroid Prime 3 at my house right now, and it's...well...Resident Evil 4 is really fun!! :/
