Got quite a few things to talk about in this one, Gaming updates, Movie Impressions, Life update, my Union Idea, and an update on getting into youtube. Lets hope I can write it all before I get too Distracted :P
Alrighty well to start off Ill talk about what Ive been playing latley.
I Finished inFAMOUS a couple of days ago and Ill tell you it was amazing, I played through as a hero and Im going back through as a villian now. I love the game and it makes me want inFAMOUS2 sooo bad. The story had me excited the whole way through and the gameplay even made some of the more boring tasks a lot of fun. I liked the system of getting powers, although I thought the rail/powerline riding should have been avalible form the start. The graphics werent anything terribly amazing but they were still quite nice. I loved how the cutscenes were in the comic book Format. It really added to the feel that you are a superhero, as I told my mom "think spiderman with electricity". :P I want to make one last comment on the story, but major spoilers here so only read if youve beat the game [spoiler] Kessler being cole was a pretty huge suprise, looking back I can see how that was kinda hinted on, but nevertheless it still made for a huge plot twist and it really drove home how epic this game was, I may even change my rating on here to a 10 :P [/spoiler]
Ive also been playing the Uncharted 3 Mulitplayer Beta, its really quite impressive. The graphics look really crisp, but what can you expect from a PS3 exclusive. I like how it plays, Im not a huge fan of the long time to kill but its pretty nessicary to keep all of the elements like platforming and such in play. Speaking of which the moving about and such is amazingly fluid and accesible especially for a early Beta. It feels like the Single Player of UC2 in that aspect. They've improved the Melee drastically from the Uncharted 2 multiplayer, but it still isnt quite as smooth as the single player Melee, but thats to be expected, as if it were Melee would be a bit...cheap. But anyways its a load of fun.
Today I saw Transformers:Dark of the Moon. I dont see why soo many people are hatin on it. I really enjoyed it. Apart from all the action and explosions my favorite part was how in the ending al of the good guys played a part equal to their importance in the story. It was quite interesting and lives up to the Transformers and Micheal Bay name.
Moving quickly onto the life update all I can say is, well...things are going great :D Theres been nothing spectaculiar going on but theres been nothing to complain about either. Ive been having fun this summer just goofin off and having fun however I see fit. Im also on quite a bit better terms with some people than I was while we were still in school. So its been going good, and Im glad about it.
I know a small few of you were interested in my looking into getting into the gameplay commentating stuff on youtube, and all I can say about that Is im still holding on waiting for the chance to get set up, Im saving for a computer and its coming along alright, it may be a bit before I can do anything but at this point its definetly looking good.
Now for the part I hope a lot of you are interested in, I plan to make a Union for all things with the two main Japaneese Gaming companies Sony and Nintendo. I decided to choose the two because well its where I specialize at. I plan to do quite a few things with the union. My main goals are to bring together many gamers from different areas of gaming, but areas that still get along. And to keep you guys informed, I hope to have news updates near daily and Very involved stuff as in Game nights, competitions and the like. I will most likley have a team of 4-5 officers at the start for the most part filling specific roles needed in the union. Ill fill you guys in more once I find out whos interested.
