Bio:A top space pirate general,he is the last of his kind.Very little is known of him,save for the origin of his conflict with samus.Ridley led a Space Pirate seige on earth colony 2-KL.During the raid Ridley attempted to kill Samus.(After an awkward moment in which Samus attempted to make freindly contact.) Virginia Aran (Samus' mother) blocked Ridley's attack at the expense of her own life.Sparking the hateful conflict Between Samus & Ridley.

Many years later,Ridley and the Space Pirates invade Zebes,and To his Rage,Samus attacks and destroys the base.

Later,before Metroid Prime,Ridley's remains are found and infused with machinery and placed on Space Frigate Orpheon.Samus raids the Ship,and after destroying the parasite queen the Frigate begins a destruction sequence.(Standard Metroid action sequence.:P)Among the chaos,the newly christened Meta-Ridley escapes from his containment chamber and flys to Tallon IV.(WTF?There's no air and he has GLIDING wings.)

Once Samus Raids the mines and retreives all the artifacts,Ridley (conveniently) pops in to crash her party.Though again,is defeated.

Later,Near the beginning of MP3 Meta-Ridley and a large force of space pirates attacks GF stronghold planet Norion attempting to corrupt it with phazon.In a final stand Samus and a crew of freindly bounty hunters attempt to restore power to the planet's damaged defense system.Ridley makes a sneak attack,giving rise to a lethal aerial battle.Samus escapes,thought Ridley is a little too slow off the mark,and hits the bottom of the shaft.(Breaking his bony neck.)

Ridley is brought to the corrupted Pirate home world,and (AGAIN!) revived by Phazon,and becomes Omega Ridley.(eat that Giga Bowser.)Ridley is then tasked to guard the Leviathan seed.And AGAIN fails.

--*END SPOILERS*--

shortly after the events of Metroid II,A de Meta-fied Ridley attacks a GF research station and captures an infant Metroid.(This guy just REFUSES to die,Don't he?:/ ).Samus pursues once more,and (AGAIN!) prevails over Ridley.

Later,Ridley's remains are reanimated by the X parasite.Again defeated.

If you paid attention to past blogs,you would've noticed he had a short tenure at Giratina's (The original one) company.Before he was fired and killed.

Powers/abilities/offensive features:Flight,spitting fire-balls,Plasma breath (Meta Ridley only),Blade tipped tail,manipulation of objects with hands (which from an evolutionary standpoint is quite a feat),powerful jaw,sentience(in the OFICCIAL Metroid E-manga),and the amazing ability to survive nearly any type of attack.
