Gigabyte has come up with, what I think is, a pretty good idea! They've added a built in SSD to one of their upcoming motherboards! I might include something like this in my next build if it gets popular. What do you guys think?

I've heard about something like this before. If i remember correctly it has something to do with your card having just enough power to run the game with the textures as is and how downsizing the textures tips the scale the wrong way a bit because of the computations that have to be done to lower their resolutions. Something like that. Don't quote me, this might be a totally stupid post.

I would probably say Counter-Strike. Although I don't play it much anymore it's the game that got me into seroius pc gaming to start and drove me to build my very first home built computer.

Hey guys, I'm just wondering about this problem my friend recently encountered. He just patched his drivers for his 6770 to the latest ones but it's now recognized as a 5770. It was showing up as a 6770 before. Anybody have any ideas why this is happening and how to fix it?

[QUOTE="Gl3ny"]

Hi guys, I'm in a bit of a tight situation. The harddrive of my brand new laptop (only 2 months old) just died out of nowhere. It's still under warranty so I could have just sent it in to sony BUT I happen to be out of Canada, where i originally bought it, until March. So as a temporary fix until I get back to Canada I was planning to buy an inexpensive new harddrive and reintalling windows 7 myself.

My question is this: Can I use a non-official(burned) disc to reinstall windows 7 but still use the official product key that is on the back of my laptop?

Burned disc?

As in finding somebody here with an ISO of windows 7 burned onto a disc or burning my own disc somehow. I just don't want to pay for a full retail copy of windows 7 since I already have key.

Personally, I love it! I've never played dota so I didn't really know what to expect. My friends that have played dota before invited me in and I think it's great fun playing with friends.
