Unfortunately they haven't addressed the issue that punishes players on the opposing team from one that has players leaving, it seems. If you are hammering another team and they have players leave, when you then win you only get a tiny fraction of the rank increase that you would have if the opposing team stayed at full count. It's very frustrating.
There's been virtually no marketing for this film. Also, who is it for? People my age (late 30's) will remember the book and original animated film, and probably also remember how completely terrifying it is, and will therefore not want to take their own kids to see it!
@fitzy_2812: I'd not be surprised by there being .5 iterations on each generation, so PS4 games will work on PS4 and PS4.5, then we'll get PS5 (in the same timeframe as we would have anyway) and so on. It is like the phone model, or even PC, but I still play new games on my phone that is 3 gens behind current so it's not the best analogy. I don't think it would work for Sony (or MS) to start saying that new games would only run on PS4.5 for example, maybe a the end of the cycle, when the PS5 is out, but not now.
@boaconstricta: It does seem inconsistent with many other sites though. Hopefully they'll fix it before launch, I've been waiting for a new GT for ages, I hope they pull it out of the bag.
I find this article pretty incongruous, considering that quite a few other outlets are reporting that the preview build that everyone saw last week (albeit one that is still 6 months from launch) was fairly disappointing graphically, and even more so for the sounds quality.
It's an opinion piece of course, perhaps those others just had much higher expectations, as I think a lot of consumers will, of a GT game on a new console that will be 3 years in to it's life cycle by the time the game comes out.
