Do you sell pus-fre?

I got a PS3 yesterday, (Anybody who doesn't understand the title, search youtube for fonejacker)

Anyways, I got it for my birthday, but that's not til thursday, so I got it early.

Add me as a buddy, my ID is guyf.

New Sigs

New sigs. Hell yeahs.

This one is Plumma inspired (The Border):

I'm going to start uploading some magic onto my videos. I've gotten back into it, and I'm getting a job doing it. I need to get a friend to come out and record some street magic, but until then, I'm going to use my webcam to show some tricks.

Beauty and The Beasts

Watched the Leipzig MGS4 trailer yesterday. If you haven't seen it, it's here. It shows the newest "freaks" that will be the bosses in MGS4. I'm intrigued by the bosses themselves, but the trailer itself seems a little bland to me. Raging Raven didn't get enough face time either IMO. I didn't even know what he looked like til I made a sig using him.

The video itself is raising a fair amount of queries and theories. There's been people saying that they think the bosses are remnants of the origin FOXHOUND group etc. All rumours, which have been proven wrong, just by listening to the trailer. The trailer basically is saying how war changes people for the worse, a very "Taxi Driver"esque theme.

The bosses, called screaming mantis, raging raven, laughing octopus, and crying wolf, and all were inhabitants of the countries where the war happened, all beautiful women, and all so emotionally scarred by the war that they transformed into beasts without morality, becoming part machine and incredibly violent in the process of their break down. They seem to terrorize the battlefield, and it looks as if they are fighting against the militia, and therefore working for Liquid.

As far as powers go, they all seem to just use technology to their advantage. The only possible exception being Screaming Mantis, who causes a soldier to shoot his own men, and then suspended him mid-air and killing him. However, if you watch closely, when the soldier is suspended, it looks as if he's being held up by strings. The attack upon his own men also looks suspicious. It looks as if a muscle spasm has caused it, rather than mantis taking over his mind, and with the fits of the soldiers in the last trailer, I think it looks as if the nanotechs in his body have caused it. This would mean that Screaming Mantis isn't actually psychic like Psycho Mantis was, but is just mimicking his power using technology.

As of so far, Laughing Octopus is the boss which is creeping me out. There hasn't ever been a boss who's done that before, but the whole laughing as she kills people, and then shouting, "that was fun" as she leaves seems a bit twisted to me.

I'm also wondering how boss fights are actually going to work. The area system seems to have gone in the gameplay demo, and it all seems to be one big area which melds together. I think they'll have a hard time integrating boss fights, but we'll have to see.

Our Love To Admire

Got the newest interpol album yesterday, and it's incredible. Anybody who's into indie should get this.

Tracks are:

1: Pioneer to the Falls

2: No I in Threesome

3: The Scale

4: The Heinrich Maneuver

5: Mammoth

6: Pace Is The Trick

7: All Fired Up

8: Rest My Chemistry

9: Who Do You Think?

10: Wrecking Ball

11: The Lighthouse

So far, this is my favourite album of the year, and leaves my second favourite, Bloc Party's A Weekend in the City, miles behind.

On a completely different note, I had a very interesting Friday night, including a friends who just broke up with his girlfriend for cheating on him hooking up with his ex's little sister, and me finding a girl who had been missing for 24 hours. Some nights eh.

Anti-consumerist Sonnet

I have to do 1 written piece of English GCSE coursework, everything else is typed out, and I was supposed to do a 1500 word essay. I chose to skip it and bring in a hand written piece of other coursework, and a 14 line sonnet is alot easier. Yes I do know the syllable stressing is off, but I don't care. I was happy with this, and feel like sharing my views, as this is a completely freely chosen subject.

society has fallen to a curse

we have lost perspective through our own greed

left to care about money in our purse

left to live life for what we do not need

advertising has left us all as shells

so we define ourselves through what we buy

junk that generations have ignored sells

we live for trivial reasons and die

some resist the doctrine that has been set

and the public look down on those who do

these are the free and we are in their debt

we should all dream of being like them too

we should regress to out ancestor's state

only then will we be spared from our fate

Back (sorta)

Sorta back, and I was getting annoyed by my last blog post, so I had to get rid of it somehow. This is my answer.

Anyways, got FFXII, and it's intense, love the battle system, and the story's quite good (although not FFX standard). Hunts were a great idea, and so was the bazaar items. If you want my opinion, get it.

That's all I can be bothered with right now, might update later. I might start posting more regularily again.

Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure.

This game rules. Graf writing may be called anti-social, and you may think that it's boring to do something on a game, when you can walk out the door and tag some wall downtown, but trust me, you won't be doing this.

Ever wondered what POP would be like if you just had a usual person doing no backflips and fighting real people? Well, Getting Up is your game. You play as Trane, who deides to leave his Grandma's place, (No kidding) to become a graf writer. Throughout the game, you meet legends, and watch as Trane style evolves. He gradually makes new friends, and even gets a crew together.

The main enemy in the game is the VANR (Vandals of new Radius), who you often base graf on to humiliate them, one of them being Very average nearly retarded, and the CCK, or the FUCCK as Trane decides to call them. The game is based on 3 main types of levels, stealth, fight, or destination. Destinations are usually used to get you in a place for a nice heaven spot graf. Stealth usually includes knocking out your enemies, and fight is sorta obvious.

The fighting system is easy if using the basics, but gets gradually more complicated. The stealth system is easy enough to master, and the destination is very difficult at times. A very challenging game.

Although all of this sounds great, it does have some cons. Mainly being annoying control along balance beams, and some annoying camera angles, although these flaws rarely rear they're ugly head.

This is a great game. If you like the sound of it, buy it, if you don' like the sound of it, buy it.

Overleveled, and Damn Proud.

FFVII again, (Yes I'm still playing it), and I'm at correl valley. I'm level 47. Aparently Im miles overleveled, but I don't care. I see easy bosses in the future. I went to the "Forgotten Capital" and got Comet. I'm currently training that up now, and I want to be level 65 before I go to disc 2. I still don't know what to do with Cosmo's Memory, cause I tryed it on Red, and he didn't know what to do with it. I think it's level 4, but I need the next level 3 before I can get level 4. :( Anybody knkow how I can do that?

I know I'm moving slowly on it, but GR, (Gamerenders) has been taking up a large portion of my life right now. That's also why I'm not posting as often, that and the new layout. Anyway, I'll post again soon.

Messing About gives Rewards

Again, biology. Great lesson. Well, me and my best friend sit miles apart, and apart from 1 other boy and 2 girls in that class, we hate everybody. damn nerds. So, we're forced to work with our nerdish partners, so we stand at the back, and mess about. She got bred half way throught the lesson, and told us if we were good, then we could work together in every practical.

That deserves a :D

We spend 1 lesson working, and wwe'll be stoped frpom boredomthroughout the whole of biology this year.

Biology's gonna be great this year.

Final Fantasy VII

Okies, for a while, people have told me to get FFVII, FFVIII and MGS1. I decided to get FFVII first. I got it a fornight ago or so, and because of photoshop, (Damn the addictiveness), I haven't started playing properly until today. I now understand why Sephiroth is the total badass for a villain. I'm only at Kalm, but the flashback in the inn was amazing. I'm level 15/16 here, and I'm using Red Thirtenn, Cloud and Tifa, tips are very welcome. Anyways, back to the point.

So yeah, started playing properly today, and I started from Aeris' House. I played through to Kalm watching all the cutscenes, and god Damn it's cool. Best cutscene so far is either The reactor blowing up, or the latest one, Seph completely dissapppearing into the fire, and killing almost the entire village. Great stuff.

I'm currently leveling up, cause Seph's been spotted in a field to the East. I'm using the Earth materia's, but I want some more fires ices and thunders. Materia are costing too much. :(

anyways, got a *Moving Dinner* tonight. Gonna be hard eating off a tabnle as it moves up the road, but oh well.
