[QUOTE="ThePlothole"][QUOTE="Ninja-Hippo"]These days more or less everything is a portable gaming device thanks to smart phones, ipads, ipod touches and the like. I think the day of the handheld system is coming to an end...Ninja-Hippo
If that is the case, someone had better make a smartphone with shoulder buttons. A lot of games are just awkward without them.
True dat. :( I get tired of so many smart phones bragging about their gaming capabilities when they'd clearly not designed to play games. The iPad has to be the worst for that. "It's just awesome for playing games on! But it doesn't have any buttons LOLS!' Thanks, Steve.

maybe. but some people will always pick a gaming device over smart phones, ipads, ipod touches because of the gaming quality. also in japan I don't see it dieing for a long time. the japanese seem to like portable gaming devices over consoles.
We're probably discouraged from talking about it due to its emulator capabilities, but it does have original and open-source games as well. I have a GP2X F-100 and there's not an emulator on it.savebattery
i heard them talk about emulators on one of the gamestop shows, so i'm guessing it should be okay....
