Well, I know they make connectors. I don't know where to get them, but my roomate left to go to the engineering department at CU when we were trying to hook up our 360s and came back with some. Small, grey, boxes where you can plug in a cat5 cable on one side and another on the other side. I guess its a no-brainer. However, they are out there!

I would check ebay or your local craigslist. I got my sharp player for only $175 because some spoiled kid got it for free with his new Aquous TV and he already had a PS3. However, the PS3 is quite the deal as you get a player and a game console.

Well since GTA4 does not have its own soft drink, Halo 3 had game fuel, I would say that Halo 3 had more general hype. I recall the commercial with people playing eachother from all over the world and screaming in their respective languages...Halo definately had more hype. However, hype obviously does not directly correlate into greatness...

You know, I had the same question when I bought my tv. I will say from my experience that I would have liked a tv with at least one more hdmi. Things can pile up quickly when you add dvd players, game consoles, and a cable box. It does seem that most new hdtvs come with a plethora of hdmi inputs. My samsung lcd only came with 2 hdmi and 1 component for the hd inputs. The new ones come with 4 hdmi and 3 components, so you probably won't have too much trouble finding a good tv with plenty of input options.

I made the jump to Hd Dvd.... then a few horrible months later I made the jump to Blu. Blu and Hd Dvd look pretty similar, but Blu probably has a bit of an edge. However, I don't think I can go back to standard definition now, Hd is so nice!

I am fairly certain that "Angry Video Game Nerd" just released a video on that console you have there. Might want to check it out to give you an idea of the games...

Well, they are known for being good for the price. However, I will say that I do not think that they have the contrast as higher-end brands such as Sharp Aquos and Samsung. My Samsung 32" next to my roomates Vizio 37" looks much better and has much deeper colors and contrast. Of course, that is just my opinion in my experience...

Thanks for all the advice everyone. I found a new monster Hdmi cable on my local Denver craigslist for $25 and jumped on it. Picture looks great, I will though keep monoprice in my favorites for future purchases. Thanks again.
