Its called schizophrenia (greek for "split mind" since the symptoms involve a person being seperated from reality). The voices are just one of the many symptoms. Other symptoms include inapporpiate emotion (say bursting into laughter when someone tells you that their mom just died), audio and visual hallucinations (seeing/hearing things), and delusions (granduer ("I'm god"), refrence ("God is communicating to me through the weatherman"), and persecution("the CIA is trying to kill me")).

Sorry for the long winded post, as a psych major I couldn't resist :P

lol, thanks for clarifying my post. Appreciated. And if Ghost do exist, why and for what purpose? To haunt us? Because they didn't finish what they wanted in their mortal life? And IF Ghost exist, this brings into the question; can science explain this or is God given into consideration?

Here's what you do.

1. At the strike of midnight, turn off all the lights.

2. Yell, "Come out Ghost, I'm not afraid."

3. If nothing happens yell again but louder.

4. If nothing happens prepare to taunt the ghost to come out, using any means possible.

5. *Caution* Use this step only if steps 1-4 doesn't work. Lay down and say, "I'm going to sleep, you don't dare do anything while I am asleep!."

6. If no ghost comes; then you're safe!
