The thing is what people are calling flaws have been the same way things have been done since the first Animal Crossings. Are there areas I think that Nintendo could have improved, sure. I don't agree with many of the things that Zuma calls flaws. For example, color coded what you donated. Just like in real life, you are not going to remember everything. I have a good idea what I donated to the museum, and there are some things that I am iffy. I don't mind trying to donate and having Blathers make fun at me because somebody already donated it. My wife and daughter also play, so would it be a "flaw" if the items in my pockets don't change color if they donated the item? I hope not...

Ok heres three things:
1. Making a comparison to real life when talking about Animal Crossing is a little "iffy" itself. Good luck digging up dinosaurs and catching bohemoth fish IRL. The aim of Animal Crossing isn't supposed to make you feel like your living real life; It makes you feel like your living a fantasy life, (which you are.)
2. I agree with Zuma: You shouldn't be able to even select the fish if you have donated it already. Same goes with bugs, paintings, etc.
3. Just because your wife and daughter play doesn't mean that you should try to guess whether or not they donated items already.
