@Total_mischief @spammehardo @Navydad101 Africa has far stricter gun laws and a much higher poverty, murder, disease rate and are in a much worse state of education.
@johnnyauau I keep one primarily for protection of my home. Guns don't pull their own triggers. There have been no studies because it's moronic to think they do.
@Silthers @baq99 Actually, people stockpile in accordance with the 2nd amendment which was intended to protect the people from a government if it became tyrannical. They had seen what government could do and it's why the country was founded in the first place. Sorry the facts don't align with your politics.
@parrot_of_adun @GoreSmasher You are blatantly wrong. According to the UN office on drugs and crime, every single African region has a higher rate than North America with all but North Africa being drastically higher. Also 40% of homicides being attributed to firearms when they are totally banned by civilians is insane. Too bad they aren't allowed to defend themselves. Eastern Europe and many Asian regions also have a higher homicide rate. Let's not twist facts to suit our ideology.
@parrot_of_adun First off, please tell me how it's a "stupid argument". The fact is that banning guns would only make them accessible to criminals and take them from people who want to protect their property and family.
Second, Lanza stole his mothers guns. They should have been locked up. Africa has far stricter gun requirements, yet the murder rate is far higher. You are a political tool.
@bukankhadam Weapons are blamed more than games because of politics. Some people think guns have developed self consciousness and the ability to fire themselves.
@SupaTrupa And a double standard by democrat politicians who suddenly rush to the rescue of games when in the past , they condemned them. They use any opportunity to try and push a weapons ban no matter how disingenuous. Very simple minded, but not as simple minded as those who buy into it.
