I've never been a fan of these games. For the simple fact that the whole point of video games (like any form of entertainment) is to unwind and relax, for the most part. Last thing I want to do is curse at my TV after a 10 hour shift.
With that said and years after these games came out. I just started playing Bloodborne. (I know, "about time, welcome to the party"). At first I had the same feelings of "F-this! I not going through that Demon Souls BS again!"...I actually started to warm up to it. I'm about halfway into Bloodborne and after this I intend on booting up my PS3 and give DS another crack. Maybe I'll have learned something. Got that edge I needed. Then again, maybe not and I'll need a new tv and controller;)
@Slammer612: that's like saying a historian has no right or knowledge because they weren't actually "there". You can watch video and read about a subject to make a decent conclusion. Get over yourself.
I find this hard to believe. You can literally half those sales numbers if you count the remaster that people impulsively paid for (let's be honest, you fell for this ransom bundle by paying for a game you didn't want and another you already paid full price for 9 years ago)
1. Too many people complaining about not finding lobbies due to low player counts.
2. Friends lists have almost no one playing IW. The few who are, only playing the remaster.
3. Preorders were abysmal. Gamestop and Gamespot recorded a record drop compared to previous iterations
