I gave 8.1 beta a try a couple weeks ago..and it wasn't a pretty couple of hours, and when I rebooted, it automatically uninstalled itself and took me back to 8 with a broken metro screen...but it's called a beta for a reason, right? I wasn't messing with the metro screen all that much, anyways...so I know i'm looking forward it.
