Once devs figure out how to use the Cell over the next 10 years, then you'l see that Cell is Gods gift to gaming.Pro_wrestlerJust keep telling yourself that.
Well this may be the final nail in the coffin for Sony this generation. I mean it happens, what did you sony fanboys think or for that matter anybody actually think that Sony would never lose its first place spot?!!? It happens Sony came along and beat Nintendo, and was first place for 2 generations, but now Nintendo, and Microsoft have struck them down and they no longer reign supreme. Its not a suprise at all, its what happens. Mabye next generation they might get back on top again . Or Nintendo will be winning again, or Microsoft who knows. Bottom Line no company will ever stay on top. Sony is just doing poorly this gen, Sorry.

I dont mean going down altogether! I mean just in the game division for now, with PS3. LOL, I see some of you misinterpreted what I meant, and thought I was saying Sony the company is dieing or something. No, that is not what I meant at all, I am just talking about them in the video game industry, and console wars. How lame is this guy
Sony is the biggest, bestelectronics company in the world, not talknig about games, all electronics
And he thinks sony is going down
Who are the fanboys again

Well the PS2 won by almost 100 million consoles. The PS1 sold over 100 million consoles. The N64 sold around 35 million. The Gamecube and Xbox sold 50 million combined. It would be logical to think that Sony would stay on top.InsaneHanzWell not forever, they would eventually fall, like every major power no matter how powerful. So those millions of PS1s and PS2s dont really mean much anymore, as that is the past. Now it is a closer race, and plus the 360 is kinda gaining way more mainstream popularity, with a lotmore commericals, espiscially commercials for multiplatform games like Madden, but are advertised as 360 commercial only. Plus more references in pop culture.
[QUOTE="GreasyFetus69"][QUOTE="2headedhawaiian"]I dont think many people repurchase 360s seeing as you get them replaced for free. Im not really crowning any definite king, I just feel it will probably not be Sony this gen. Plus I like inviting flames, I like too argue sometimes, its fun.*sigh*
I challenge you to research MS's game division financials. It's still really early in this generation's life cycle; much too early to start crowning the kings. Oh, well, I should say "the PS3's life cycle." At the rate MS is going, the 360 will be maxed out ina year or so, and it'll be time for XBOX3 right as the PS3 is hitting its prime. Also, I feel 360 sales are a little misleading, considering how many lemmings inexplicably repurchase the dang thing once the ring hits.
I usually don't respond to these types of posts, which are obviously inviting the flames for reasons which make no sense to me, but I must be feeling confrontational today or something.

Yeah, I encourage you to examine the stickied'Broken XBOX360' thread on the boards here. Take special note of how many people are actually satisfied with their 'free replacement,' and how many basically say 'F this, I'm buying an Elite/Halo3 SE and selling my replacement because I'm tired of getting a different broken console sent back to me after 2 months of waiting.'
What are people getting back broken 360s? My replacement is fine, except for some reason it has trouble playing a select few DVDs, saying MODE NOT SUPPORTED. Which I dont get. Mabye itsa problem with the region coding or something.and this is the reason I decided not to get a 360 becuz of these guys.Tokyo90What? Its not like Im being an immature little troll, my points are somewhat valid and stated clearly, and Im not saying anything that bad to the PS3, I just thought this news was bad for Sony and wanted to show it. And discuss how they would eventually lose their top spot. But I guess you guys are right, this generation is not over yet and is still young.
