I wouldn't get one now. I'd wait till next year, get a 360 instead. Much more impressive lineup this year. Plus its cheaper. The PS3s games arnt doing so well, just look atmediocrereviews for exclusives like Lair and Heavenly Sword. They dont seem worth buying anyways, since only single player and repetitive gameplay, which in turn equals on replay value. Others like Warhawk and Socom look likedecent online shooters, but wouldnt you rather play Halo 3? Others like Haze look generic and again wouldnt you rather play Halo 3? Unreal Tournament look good, but it is coming out early next year for 360, as is Haze. Drake looks cool. Ratchet and Clank looks just like all the other ones, but better graphics and no multiplayer. The only great looking game IMO is the downloadable Little Big Planet. You tell me if its worth the 600 bucks?
So, the only really bad thing about it is the replay value and you guys are still **** Pick your battles. It got good scores on every other aspect. I can't wait to pick this one up.Chutebox

Get over it people, the game isnt that great. A 7 is about right. I played the demo, it was very mediocre gameplay wise. Nice graphics and prodution values, but thats it. THegameplay waslike any last gen hack and slash.Just because DMCs and GOW got good reviews LAST GENERATION doenst mean this should this generation.They expected a lot more from this game, since its supposed to be next gen. They just took DMC and GOWs gameplay, threw in a girl protagonist, and great graphics and thought thats all it took. Well they were wrong. Plus its short and not alot of extras. They could of at least put co-op or something.
It is talking about the Unreal Engine 3, which is on the 360, PC, and PS3. It is not refering to Bioshock. Wasn't Bioshock announced as a 360exclusive a while ago by Mircosoft.
Yea and really the only things keeping PC gaming alive is the MMOs like WOW. The Sims isnt as popular as it used to be though. I mean there is also Counter-strike, but that game hasnt changed since it was made. Just graphical updates.
True, I agree. PC is just not worth it most of the time. Its not worth the hassle and money. Sure once in a while an amazing looking game releases on it, like Crysis, but thats it. 360 in my opinion, and consoles in general are more fun.
I know i voted for Halo, but Gears is definitely the 360s flagship franchise, I mean it wont be until after Halo 3. But when Halo is all over after Halo 3, then Gears will dominate with 2 on 360,and probably 3 on the next box. Halo was for the original xbox, well Halo 3 will dominate as the flagship until Gears 2 arrives,(with a movie already started on, which will most likely come out before theHalo movie), but Gears in my opinion will win in the long run because of its sequals and be the xbox brands next killer franchise. Kind of like how PS1 moved from Crash and Spyro, too Jak and Daxter, and Ratchet and Clank for PS2.
