@NicAgent @svaubel Any boycott organized further than what has already happened - where people are refusing to buy CoD games (and then a lot of them caving like weaklings) - won't make any difference. More kids will step up to take their place. It's like a roman quincux pattern army of mindless fanboys.

What everyone else has said is accurate. We'd go back to the Wii - we'd be honored to put it alongside our PS3s and 360s or PS4s or whatever, IF there was a good reason. When your console only has 2 or 3 games so far and only one or two are worth a crap, there's no reason to invest 350 dollars, more than either PS3, Vita, or 360, or DS or 3DS.

Admittedly that's their business model. They're content with us moving on to actual systems with potential and good games, they will keep catering to the kids. Fine. My disregard stems from concern; I would gladly buy a Wii U and support Nintendo, if they deserved it. I bought Wii and I had RE Chronicles (both), and some GC games, and Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, that was it. My Wii got stolen. I cared so little that to this day, nearly 3 years later, I haven't bought a new Wii.

@abHS4L88 @Grenadeh We treat Nintendo like we treat an alcoholic failure of a former high school friend. We pass them on the street and shake our heads in disgust at what they've become. Nintendo succeeded as an entertainment company based on our generation, and it hasn't matured with us - it has evolved backwards into making crappy, casual, kiddy games that grandmas and toddlers can play and none of them have any merit. Excluding the few good titles like Trauma Center (Good is a relative term) or Mario Galaxy or MG2 or Paper Mario or whatever, its nothing but crap. SNES and NES had awesome games left and right. N64 had awesome games left and right. Gamecube had....maybe 4 good games, Wii had what, 3? 4? Do they owe me anything? No. Are they missing out on the majority of the core gamer market? Yes.

Nintendo has done nothing for the past almost 20 years but drag by on crap and the casual family market. They haven't made a good new IP in yeaaaaaaars. They abandoned or otherwise drove into the ground what good franchises they had. We can only play mario kart 89 and Wi Ware and Luigis Mansion and Super Metroid Ultra Mega Prime Black and Pokemom Ivory for so long.

The fact that trying to screw gamers into buying a system to play the next iteration of a game they liked, is annoying. Granted I haven't finished it but if I do and I end up liking it, I don't want to pay 350 for a paperweight so I can play the next one.

When you put it that way, yes, I agree with that, but whose decision was it to can Bay2 if Nintendo didn't pick up exclusively?

@C_A_G_E @Grenadeh No it really didn't. Something tells me you're using Wikipedia stats which are 3 years old, and wrong.

@abHS4L88 @Grenadeh @kiramasaki I guess so. I highly disagree with that considering I just got my PS3 about half a month ago and I have to say, the only appeal it has to me is that there are still 2 exclusives I haven't finished, and it plays mkvs more easily than my 360. I already own all those old ps1 and psx games, and I would never pay for them again. PS+ Gives you free games, but you are paying a membership for them. PS3 and 360 have the exact same games - the only differences are Halo, Alan Wake, MGS4, Uncharted, and Heavy Rain. Not enough difference to matter. Infamous doesn't even count because it's just an AC/GTA mashup.

@emptycow @HydePark1980 The 64 was one of the best systems in history, it wasn't a flop. It sold a lot of games.
