Neither is UK, nor South Korea, nor Iceland, nor Netherlands, nor Finland, nor Germany. They are all representative Republics just like USA and Britain isn't even set up with as much organization.

@Sythion It's not naive but it's only partially realistic. People that would actually be driven by violent media are not people - they are mentally ill, or criminals, whatever they are regardless they are not part of normal society. We already treat them that way with a woefully inadequate mental health system and we have done so for decades. Many of these people frankly do not belong on the streets and especially not playing video games. The fact remains, though, they aren't normal - they are f'ed up, and they don't count when talking about normality.

Can you please explain to me how we're supposed to listen to these shit-for-brains POLITICIANS when they continually tout the company line "THESE GUNS HE SAW IN VIDEO GAMES, THESE ASSAULT RIFLES, HARPA DAR". There was no assault rifle. There was no semi-auto rifle used. It is in every news site on the net, and it was on day one - AR-15 not used. Four handguns retrieved from the scene. AR15 found in trunk of car, not fired, not in the school.

This issue has nothing to do with video games, the same that it has nothing but an unfortunate link with firearms. If your kid kills someone, sets a horse on fire, whatever it is that they do which is clearly not acceptable in society, it has nothing to do with the games or the media. You need to do your job as a parent and influence and guide their development. They need to be able to differentiate between reality and fantasy. It's not like they're tripping on acid and then someone runs up and purposely makes them think there's a war on or something. They have the tools to know better.

You do realize that all this bill accomplishes is to make adults angry. We don't like being carded, it's a waste of our time.

I've seen a lot of DayZ and while it sounds good, it looks like shit. Arma is a terrible engine and you can see how horrible it is within 1 minute of gameplay, the way zombies warp around and the way they are animated. Though really they both look like crap. When Dead Island is the standard by which to measure if the game flows like shit or not - no offense to DI i love the **** out of it to this day - they need to think outside the box. Really though you aren't going to have any success making a persistent online MMO-type zombie game. They could learn a few lessons from PlanetSide2 but still........idk.

@ThereWillBeNPCs You sir,. have done it correctly. They are shit. And you don't need one. Razer makes cheap shit that looks fancy and has impressive looking box art and numbers to distract you from the fact that you can still pwn a bitch in the face with your old controller/mouse/keyboard/headset.
