But U3, KZ3, GOWIII, look better than anything on that list for consoles, weird huh lol.as much as i hate to be the fanboy but it'd time to admit that the 360 is just the more powerful console regardless of theoretical power of the ps3. the split VRAM, and dumbed down gpu were always going to fail against 512mb unified ram and superior gpu in the 360, and cell simply can't overcome both. all of these games are superior on 360
Battlefield 3
Crysis
Crysis 2
Rage
Bayonetta

[QUOTE="22kristian"][QUOTE="Innovazero2000"] Crysis 2 is doing more impressive things then KZ3 on the technical side (except animation), KZ3 is more polished and does run smoother. KZ3 has it's frame rates issues as well, but not nearly as often as C2 does.greensand24Not only does Killzone 3 perform MUCH better then crysis 2, it looks better to boot http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5CBd6QX8nps You cows keep refrring to this video which makes no sense. Why? Because that's like looking at a picture but then only focusing on one corner when the truth is that when you consider the whole picture Crysis 2 does MUCH more than kz3 could ever dream of.. As was already mentioned about that video...THIS SAYS IT ALL... SSAO in KZ3?No,there is no SSAO.HDR ligthing in KZ3?No,there isn't any. Bokeh DOF in KZ3?Nope. There isn't any.Volumetric sun shafts?Nope none in kz3. Real time GI? Nope, there is NONE in Kz3.All shadows (buldings,EVERYTHING) dynamic?Nope. NOT EVEN CLOSE. All light sources dynamic? AGAIN NOT EVEN CLOSE. Actual scale of the game and physics?Nope. Look how easy that was. You can mention pop up until your blue in the face. But the truth is it's barely noticeable in-game and doesn't take away what the game does as far as the ENTIRE package goes compared to killzone 3 and THAT'S why it's GRAPHICALLY/TECHNICALLY superior compared to Kz3. Lol read the digital foundry face-off on Crysis 2 at the end when they say it has "cutting edge visuals" with an "impressive game design" that is doing things that are "many ways more advanced than anything we've seen elsewhere on console." Post me a pic of Crysis 2 on the 360 without a butt load of jaggies. Crysis 2 runs like a joke, think about it. Only game that gets loved on that has more issues than you can shake a stick at. Fly all of the fancy words around all you want, but all that tells me is the devs is more anxious to run hardware hard than to actually make a game look its best and run its best.
Yea $339, seems a lot but if your one that goes to the bar to watch the games you'll save alot when thinking of paying $20 to $60 a sunday on drinks and food each sunday if not more for some. Think this is awesome, I just hope it streams good. Other than that I think its great and will definitly be checking it out. Love me some Cowboys and Bucs, don't get to see them here nearly enough, just some crappy Panthers games. Which can be good, but dang if a team has a losing record they should lose some of their air time in local areas lol.
Has anyone else heard about this yet? I've looked on the first page in the forums here but didn't see a topic. But I hope they get this wrapped up and turned on in time for the Season to start.
Directtv teams up with Sony for Sunday ticket
Only reason I can think that it doesn't matter, is if your a person that is willing to pay to play online in the first place. Heck, does anything really matter?
HD movies stream perfectly fine for me on my end. Make sure you try hard line instead of wifi maybe if your not.
I just put in a Western Digital Scorpio Black 320gb 7200rpm hdd. Think the last I heard the ps3 will only accept up to a 500gb hdd, say other wise ppl if I'm wrong on that.
The black series WD hdd's are awesome and run quiet and cool.
Less health equals less skill? Hmmm, maybe that means someone needs to stay alert inorder to get that first shot off huh lol. Or better yet, be better than the other people playing and maybe you will also get that first shot off. Don't know how people think that they can turn a corner without even looking and get shot in the assss, but think they shouldn't die but be able to turn around and pop off a lucky headshot and call that skill. When in fact you showed nothing that even comes close to skill, if you had skill you would have seen me in the first place :)I really think it's a huge step down from KZ2 IMO.They made the campaign a CoD clone and filled it with cliched "epic" moments, the heavy weapons are completely overpowered, there's no player or weapon weight and it's too short. In MP, the whole thing is unbalanced, there is less customization, run-n-gun gameplay instead of more tactical, less health online (like CoD yet again, less health requires less skill, it depends more on how got the first shot), the MP c****es are extremely unbalanced (I remember when the scout actually required skill, now he has the best AR in the game and is both invisible physically and on the radar), the maps aren't as good, no spawn grenades, etc.

The game play is nothing like cod. Cod is laughable at most when coming from KZ3 to it. Sorry its nothing like it. Guys from cod come to play and go 3/25 kdr, but go back to cod and they are at the top of the board lol.
Wow, dude the sniper becomes visible when moving and after shooting. And if leveled up all the way and he can get shots off without coming uncloaked there is other methods of finding the snipers. Geez, just about every advantage to a ****has a way of being countered. Its called learning to play the game lol. Also to some in here complaining about GW game mode, NO kidding its the worst game mode to play. So I'm glad that you can't find people in that mode lol, thats called people knowing whats good and whats not good. KZ is not about team death match, its about team objectives. So complaining about snipers that are cloaked I would definitly have to say that GW mode is what your playing. Once again its the worst game mode. It just amazes me how people love to complain about KZ games, and then have the thought of even bringing up Socom 4 in the same sentence is just laughable. KZ3 is a beast. KZ2 was great, but as far as gameplay goes and even maps goes KZ3 beats it to death. KZ2 had better features for the game, but as far as gameplay and character movement KZ3 rolls on :)[QUOTE="GreyFoXX4"][QUOTE="krayzieE99"] Great gameplay ruined by horrible players? not really, its a horrible game ruined by the developers. an invisible sniper with a silenced weappon...so freakin lame. most of the maps suck too. kz2 had better maps, and the perks were more balanced. 2Chalupas
So there's only 3 modes and one of them is so trashy nobody plays it? Sounds like a great game. NOT!!!! It's not like there's millions of people playing the other modes either. Killzone 3 is already down into the low thousands playing on a daily basis. Fact is it just does not have a large and thriving online community, and KZ3 seems to be dying out at an even faster rate than KZ2. Granted a game like MW2 had millions playing, that wasn't necessarily an indication that it's 1000 times better than Killzone. But Killzone has so few loyal players, that clearly there is SOMETHING driving people to not really be interested in sticking with it.
Anyway the operations mode is "decent", there's alot of good stuff in Killzone. But it's also got a lot of trashy elements that drag it down towards mediocrity. I prefer more straightforward shooters like Battlefield, and yes even SOCOM 4 (at least in terms of online play).I thought Killzone 3 had a better than expected campaign, but the multiplayer was largely disappointing to me.
Warzone game mode has 5 game modes that you play through. Sorry it doesn't boot you out to a lobby screen to start the next game mode for you to feel that you got more modes to play.Cod is a casual player dream game, and guess what, what ruined Socom series with Socom 4 is that Zipper made it casual friendly. Loved Socom all the way through Confrontation. But Socom 4 is a joke. But I did hear that the coop is fun. Also don't bring up the size of the community, I almost stopped reading once you done that.
