Ummm...read my original comment. If the controls don't change then I won't be buying it. Thanks for the hindsight advice though.

I never played KZ3 because after feeling like I was duped by the years of hype for KZ2 and dealing with the bad controls I was just turned off. Even after the "fix" they released for the controls of KZ2 they still sucked. I might have to find KZ3 in the bargain bin and give it a try.

Not so much the sluggishness, but the way it starts off sluggish from the center position of the stick and then it has a sensitive point where it will whip quickly. It's just not smooth. Also, why would you try to excuse the bad controls by saying that it's more realistic to be sluggish when weighted? There's a lightning gun and aliens...and you're defending bad controls with a realism argument.

Why don't they go after the retailers that sell mature rated games to minors? Why don't they go after parents who ignore these ratings and allow their kids to be raised by Captain Price?

The controller will be a similar size to the DS3? Does Sony know that people other than Hobbits play their console? Sheesh...we grew up...give us a bigger controller.

@xsonicchaos Your powers of deduction rival that of Waldo Faldo. First of all, why would I dislike campers if I was one? Secondly, why would I like games like CS and Quake 3 when in my post I mention liking big outdoor environments and disliking corridor type shooters? Also, the game type I preferred in the first handful of Ghost Recon games was no respawn siege. You could not camp in that game type due to the time limit when on offence or the fact that on defense your "base" would be captured if you just sat in one spot waiting for someone to run by. You had to use teamwork, communication, and sound tactics to hunt down the other team while trying not to get shot. The big outdoor environments lacked all the blind corners and alleys that make most maps today feel cheap. You had to work for your kills, not wait to have someone run by. So, I am most definitely not a camper. I HATE campers. Camping is a waste of time and not fun. Only people who care about their k/d ratio camp, which is more stat watching than it is gaming. I like moving tactically from cover to cover, calling out enemies, and using Rambo tactics only when necessary. Lastly, I don't feel that being tactical makes me supreme to all gamers. Gaming is a hobby to me, not my life.

What happened to GR? The biggest problem with this and other shooters is the level design. It's all blind corners and campers. What happened to the huge outdoor environments from the previous generation of GR games? Now it's less about tactics or postitioning and all about camping and waiting for someone to run by or run and gun. It used to be about intense hunting of the other team...especially in seige.

@dirtdog10304 Opinions can't be true or false. That's what makes them opinions. Anyway, I'm out of time. I have to go meet my real estate agent. Just look on the BF3 forums. You'll find that alot of people hold the same opinion as me.

@djpetitte Sounds like a good job. You can keep a traveling job. I did that for 6 years in the Navy while troubleshooting, maintaining, and operating CIWS (phalanx, LPWS, centurion). You know, the same one you use in this game, but in actuality its primary function is to shoot down incoming missiles with no human interaction.
