"How about you sort out a decent game line-up first, you f'ing mugs." Yeah, because Tekken 6, MGS4, LittleBigPlanet and Gran Turismo 5 don't count as a decent game line-up. What does the 360 have? Fable 2 and Alan Wake. Hardly a line-up. And the Wii? Nothing.
Seriously Gamespot, thank you for this article. Three reasons why: 1. Telling people of Big Boss' death. It's an important part of continuity, considering the man believed firmly in soldiers' lives being on the battlefield. For all of his goals, he died what would be considered an ignoble death. 2. The reference to Big Boss looking like Sean Connery in his later years. Very nice nod. 3. Telling people about pre-Ninja Grey Fox. I swear, I've heard enough whining about Grey Fox being SOLELY a Ninja from fanboys. Knowing nothing about his past or his hero/villain lilt annoys the hell out of me. What's the point of having a backstory if people just whine "oh hes a ninja his sword is sooooo coooool lol"?
Yeah, it looks pretty and futuristic but I think the functionality is gone. XP is fine. And Vista will need a better graphics card than the one that runs most of the games that I have, so I think I'll stay away from it.
vstag, Metal Gear Solid isn't on the list because it's made in Japan and speaks out against war because of political reasons. Bit of a conundrum, since war is always political . . . Anyway, someone on the first page said something that disgusted me: "Im not one to hate other races (except for middle-east)". Really!? How interesting, because I'm a non-smoker, except for cigarettes . . . And Canada is way cooler than America.
1. The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion (X-Box 360) - Possibly the only game I want for the X-Box 360. It's practically everything I dream a game should be, apparently . . . 2. The Sims 2 (PC) - I'll admit, I've played this. For 10 minutes. And I Loved it. Why haven't I bought this game yet!? 3. Dark Chronicle (PS2) - I Loved Dark Cloud, but can't believe I disregarded Dark Chronicle because of its graphics. I'm superficial . . . 4. ICO (PS2) - One of those emotional, unusual journeys that affects me so drastically, and I've never played it. 5. Fallout (?) - I know little about this game, but I've heard good things, nay, GREAT things about the Fallout series. Sorry if this is a little long . . .
