Like you,i hope next TES is single player with online mode.I understand online is important in modern games (longevity,sales,etc.) but if it`s an MMORPG ,no buy for me.

I agree with that Vaan being the worst.Couldn`t FF developers made MAIN character like that pirate guy or that prisoner with scar? wth is wrong with FF designers?! Now Zinedine Zidane from FF 9 was well made main character.
