What happens when media attention and hype switch to PS3/360 with games like GTAIV, GT5, Halo 3, FFXIII, MGSIV etc?

Media focus atm is a huge drive in Wii sales. And not to mention if the Wii doesn't get 3rd party support that also means less games to play.

How much good attention do any of those games receive? You sing the prasie of GTA yet you dont seem to recall it was almost banned in 99% of the world last gen for a pathetic " hot coffee " stunt. Honestly MGS4? when has that ever made the news? Never thats right!

Now am going to say one game here, that this gen alone has gotten more priase and media attention then every game you have ever listed.

So what TV are you playing on then? SDTV then you're right that it doesn't look much different and you have no valid point about. HD and you're just wrong. And 360 is the same damned thing as PS3 except for unreliable hardware and that they charge you massively for anything extra that is just included in PS3.

I'm all for what Nintendo did if they weren't ripping us off at $250 for a Gamecube and $50 for games with last gen visuals and very little content.

How can you say Zelda a 50 hour game, and Wario Ware a infinte hour game. Have less content then lets say ohh i dont know.... Gears of war and Resistance?

Online doesnt make the game have more to it, it in fact seems to make people think there getting more when in fact its the same damn thing over again.

Zelda is 50+ one time threw the game, Gears isnt 50+ hours if you play threw the game on all difficultys 2x. I honestly dont get how people can say games that are ment to be played like Zelda have no content. Hell if I was to pit a game like gears vs say Mario party 8, I would take gears for a short run of about 3 months. Then I would say MP8 would last the entire gen. Those games dont get boring as you have friends around to play them.

Online does in fact get stale, in fact I would bet most XBL users hate there online for the sole fact there are so many children yelling and screaming on it. Having to turn off your vent because it hurts your game isnt a good thing.

I stopped playing SimCity that day. But I got it for VC now and they seemed to have reworked his AI, he only swaers now and can no longer S*** on your face.

The game has a counter in the archives. Sadly I thought it would have been way higher :( I was hoping it would be double what I played World of warcraft for, sadly it was just a bit over... 100 hours or so.

they should just then remake all the PS versions of FF.and throw them into a collectors set.complete with remasterd soundtracks & making of the games,and concept art.throw all that on a disc. remake 6,7,8,9.huge ass 130 dollar collectors set.and we can all be happy.floridaskater05

LMAO, I just paid for an extra dungeon in FF6 for the GBA and it was $39.99. for full on remakes of all those games the total would probably be more then if not = to a 360's core price tag.

Way to be optimistic though.
