@Imperiacommando @Guster730 @frozenux No it doesn't. Go look at PS3 exclusives like Uncharted. The graphics are great. The Xbox 360 also has games with good graphics like Alan Wake, which was very impressive. But anyway, I own every console so I don't need to be an angry fanboy.
Also here's something I found about the PS3 graphics card The Reality Synthesizer is a modified GeForce 7800. It has a core clock of 550 mhz, 24 pixel-shader pipes each capable of 27 flops/cycle, and 8 vertex pipes capable of 10 flops/cycle, for a total flops performance of 550mhz x (24x27 + 8x10) = 550 x 728 = about 400 gigaflops. Not as good as the later Nvidias, but still pretty damn good. And in case any xbox fanboy tells you the 360 has a better card, its card has a 500mhz core and 48 pixel/vertex pipelines at 10 flops/cycle for a total performance of
500 x (48 x 10) = 240 gigaflops. Barely half as powerful. Made by ATI
@Imperiacommando @frozenux That has nothing to do with the fact that it uses an AMD GPU. Most multi platform games perform better on the 360 because it's much easier to develop on, being similar to windows. Most of the games are actually developed on the 360 and ported to the PS3, thus the PS3 gets worse performance sometimes. Would all of you fanboys calm down and stop trying to prove you spent your money wisely?
I don't see what's wrong with having an OPTION to do something. As long as they don't REMOVE combat, I don't give a crap. I would certainly not skip combat myself, but there are people out there that would. So let them. It's like ME3 where you can choose "action mode" "story mode" and "RPG mode" (may have gotten those wrong, I forget) When they announced that I remember people getting furious. Why? It seems they actually like to flame companies for nothing. For whatever reason they want an excuse to be mad at something. They must be living horrible lives to have to do such a thing for enjoyment. Or maybe they're bullied in real life and have to vent their anger anonymously over the internet. Not sure, but whatever the case, they need to grow up.
They both have pretty low-res screens. They both look fine, but this guy is lying to himself if he's saying that screenshot of that golf game looks good. I see more jaggies in it than the pic of resident evil.
@ppg4all ...wow. It isn't CoD, you don't rank up the same. Unlike Call of Duty, you can focus on just one class. If you're playing recon, you'll get recon points from your kills, thus unlocking new snipers and recon equipment. There's also non-class specific weapons, which you get from just leveling like in Call of Duty. It doesn't need to be "fixed". Go back to CoD where you can have your crappy point and spray combat and linear leveling system.
