Surprisingly, this was a great buy for me and I rarely don't wait to see the reviews. I have never played Dragon's Dogma without the HD graphic pack downloaded, but I can safely say that this game looks beautiful as it is since I started playing.
The game is difficult, yet rewarding once you start taking down enemies and begin learning their weaknesses. The story isn't anything to gawk at, but I love it with the way I feel when I play. I feel more like someone standing amongst the crowd as I watch my personal Arisen contend with his quest to get his heart back. An interesting feeling to say the least.
Halo: Reach was excellent and Halo 4 was a nice change up. Didn't particularly care for Halo 3 and don't care for this next one either. I'm Haloed out.
I think most people find it a tad predictable, but it's Bioshock, remember? We spent so much time over how mind blowing the first ending was to the first installment. But, I agree. The journey through Booker's guilt and desire to resolve his demons in order to save his daughter brings about an interesting tale.
This was a great article, but the ending is highly overrated. I just happen to love how well religion was used in this game. It wasn't offensive in the slightest and it was an excellent tool in telling a great story.
You know. I used to really like the AC series. AC 2 was such a splendid game and I enjoyed every piece of it. After that? It just went downhill for me. I was eager for some flash back/Animus moments in Desmond's past, but they fucked that up nicely.
Honestly. They needed to emphasize the racial tension more and let it be grittier. It felt so.. Jolly with everyone working together for the most part.
