no i said never compared the graphics. i am saying that it was not as good as i thought it would be. It doesn't matter how old it is. my favorite game of all time is super mario bros. so age doesn't matter. also i have wanted to play it since it came out but i always i had a PS2 so i couldn't have played it. The 360 is my first microsoft system.

i just got halo because i just got a 360 and Gears of War is ten times better. Not just the graphics. it is the gameplay. it is kinda hard to play and it is kinda hard to grasp.

get an elite if you can or just get a premium. the premiums have hdmi so it really doesn't matter. All of those work out. if you can afford it get an elite though. and to answer your other question: NO sorry but not that many xboxs die on you. it is just luck. but really get the elite.
