serious discussion only??? :P it just came out... neways back on topic the myspace type functionality seems very interested althought ive never used or even been on myspace i think i have a pretty good idea of how it is, and how many wonders it could do to bring the PS3 online community even closer...
ummm nothings really been announced in terms of rumble and achievements but it does seem very very! likely... well i think they are sort of going in the right direction but they need to do more! My biggest complaint with PSN is the lack of content, and im praying to god that they announce sum nice additions in GDC...
as for rumble, i really dont care for it other than having it in MGS 4...that little shake the controller gives off wen your in the heat of escaping and a solider spots you is an experience all in its own!
Just for all you guys that are always making new threads asking how to get ur movies and stuff onto your PS3, here are some quick ways....
1. Use a USB key/flash drive 2. Burn a CD or DVD!
Ok if you dont have a USB key or dont want to waste DVD's here is another option that I use most of the time...
- Use the PS3 Media Center X app to transfer your files from your computer to your PS3 over the internet Basically what you would need to do is install this app, once done..go to your PS3 in your web browser type in the IP and from there its pretty obvious....If you want to download the free app or need more instructions go to http://www.redkawa.com/mediacenters/ps3mediacenterx/
- If for some reason you need to transfer large files over 1GB and MCX wont work for you ( it doesnt for me :S) just use Easy File Web Sharing (http://www.sharing-file.com/) it performs the same functions as MCX but isnt specifically designed for the PS3 and the interface is alot more simpler...
TIPS: - Only movie files the PS3 support are .MP4 and FLV's so make sure you convert them Video Converter 9 is a good program (http://www.redkawa.com/videoconverters/ps3video9/)
