I really can't think of many that captivate you like some of PlayStation's, other than the two Zelda games. Like PS has all the FFs, Vagrant Story, well pretty much anything made by Square. So what N64 titles captivate and make you care and all that good stuff?

For me I was shocked by Breakdown (XBOX), I thought it would be some boring narrative, but the story turned out pretty deep, not to mention the good cutscenes and awesome ending.

The three I spent the most time playing are GoldenEye 007, Ocarina of Time, and Gauntlet Legends

I have never played these games but apparently they have great stories and even better gameplay. Worth it?

I know it's hard, but no 20 game lists. Your top of the pyramid, favourite story in a video game. Mine would have to be Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic.

Which is the best?

Definitely the Hydra. Cool name, badass reload. Too bad you can't reload with infinite ammo like in RE4. The S75 is SO satisfying though too.

From what I've seen it looks really cool but I've never picked it up. Sort of Jade Empire and John Woo mixed together. (Well that's what I've got from looking at it). Anyway I don't know ANYTHING about the first game, will I be totally lost with this and have no idea what's going on? Or is the story good enough that it won't matter?

Ps. OR any other games like it?

How is the story / gameplay and all that? My friend and I might play it through coop but I don't like how you have to play the levels in SP before coop. But how is it overall?

For the original Xbox obv. I mean compare it to games, like RE4 on Professional? Mass Effect on Hardcore/Insanity? Give me something to go by. I need to know before I attempt it.
