You pretty much have to, you'll get your ass whopped if you start with a new character.-Montauk-
But the difficulty is scaled. The enemies are hard, but if you start out new they won't be as tough as if you started with your previously played person. I just dont want to beat Hardcore by changing it at the beginning, then not getting the achievement because it says "dont change the setting".
Okay, InMass Effect if I become a rouge (the evil slash jerkish type) will people in cities and other planets talk to me different?
Like, LOOK at that evil SOB. Sorta like in Fable?

No, I've played both Good (Paragon) and Evil (Renegade) and they treat you the same, unless you say something specific in the conversation. Your appearance doesn't change, you only get more options in dialogue if you're good/evil (you get intimidate or charm conversation options). And you can be good to some people and evil to others, it really won't have an effect.
IGN reviewed a Nyko intercooler and gave it an 8.5, and the package said it was cooler when the temperatures were measured all over the console. Wouldn't it make the console last longer, not less?
