price of memory cards are the only factor in my opinion sd cards with the same amount of gigs can download faster than the flash memory cards the vita is using,. the vita itself is at a pretty decent price and i'm pretty sure they're selling it at a loss but people would waste 4 to $500 on a new phone for what a faster processor that's it come on really.
@n0matter a patent like this i believe is good and bad. pro devs are more likely to make more money in return me get more games right. con gamers are more likely to not buy games cause i'm pretty sure half of them buy used games. just because they made this patent doesn't mean they will actually use it. if they decide to use it which i doubt it's for a purpose for which i don't know obviously i don't work for them.
i have been reading other comments and i have to say this wow you guys are retarded. do you know what a patent is? let me enlighten you it means to use, make or, sell at anytime it doesn't necessarily mean right away. companies do this all the time to assure if they want something in the future. oh guess what rumors are rumors.
can't see why videogames are to blame they are stimulators and a social experience. can videogames make people violent no, it's the person behind the controller who thinks it's real enough to act whatever violent way possible and these types of people need to get some help. i have been an avid gamer for 13 years and still going violent videogames aren't the cause it's usually bullying, problems with family, and one self. people say don't judge a book by it's cover that's total bs the bastard who killed those poor kids obviously needed help look at him. this investigation is pointless and a waste of tax payers money. why do they even try to put this kind of crap on games and us gamers, we're making the economy better cause videogames are what 75% of the money the us is making so yeah get off the nuts.
@Volgin_2 @vader501st to volgin_2 only nope. ea does not own crytek or anything related to crytek. ea doesn't even own the crysis ip. ea has a contract with crysis that's why they're publishing it just like the contract with madden
it looks great but will the game itself be great. i don't know after crysis 2 i have doubt. to this day the original crysis and crysis warhead are my genre defining fps. just wondering why is he comparing halo and gears technically. he should have compared it to real technical stuff like god of war or uncharted.
reasons why i love take-two they're not shy to talk about things that are actually important but people just don't care. for instant micheal pacther he may be an analyst but he's a damn great one, people misjudge him even when that's his job.
hmm i think that games will be cheaper to develop with advances in tech it will surly cut work hours and less developers working on one title and in return we get more games in a shorter time frame but even now development cycles are around the 2 or 3 year mark and still games aren't polished enough i think that's due to restraints of hardware but you don't need new hardware to develop something new even if it turns crappy. publishers or parent companies need to take it easy on developers they're your backbone without them where's the money coming from that's why i believe developers are going into the mobile business creating what they want and it's cheaper with no restraints. i know it's hard to create games due to mainstreaming but devs needs to step out of the box and create a game they want to create just because this game is doing so well doesn't mean it's actually any good. trends are trends they die out within a month or so why even follow. if games cost more it will be the end of consoles but then pc gaming will be more it likes one step forward and two steps back. i wish it would all good and dandy but life a bietch.
