Hey guys, Hammstray is back! I have been sorta busy of the last few days hanging with friends and going to a family reunion. Anyways, I have been playing some demos of different games I might want to get (I have downloaded InFamous, Uncharted 2, Fat Princess and Mag Beta, which I learned you needed the Mag game first to play it...). I just have been playing video games and I have been trying to get a trophy this week, hasn't worked out. When I was at one of my friend's house, I got him the Close Call trophy on Motorstorm: Pacific Rift and man, do I want that in my trophy collection now!

I have been playing tons of demos recently but I am still playing LBP and Motorstorm: Pacific Rift with my friends. I even played Mag recently (one of my friend's game) and it rocked! I have also heard there is a LittleBigPlanet 2 demo coming out soon which I am super excited to download this soon before PSN goes down for some maintenance on Monday. I am also trying to convince my parents to let me get Mag because they don't really like FPSs but I am doing a pretty good job of it... I think.

Here are some of the games that will have Playstation Move featured in them but they aren't REQUIRED to play that game: Time Crisis Razing Storm, InFamous 2 (wonder what it will add?), Socom 4, The Sly Collection, Brunswick Pro Bowling (yawn), LBP 2, NBA 2K11, Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11, Heavy Rain (probably an update for the game if you get the Move). I probably will get the Move but I want to see what other people think of it first.Well, that is all the time I have, see ya next time on Gaming Universe.

There are so many new games coming out for PS3 soon and i am so excited! I have a list of must have PS3 games coming out soon!

1. LittleBigPlanet 2: With the original LittleBigPlanet being a huge hit, this can not come short of awesome!

2. Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One: Ratchet is back with some of his friends! The first co-op campaign r&c that will leave you wanting more!

3. InFamous 2: With Cole with a new look, his powers take on a new attitude.

4. Motorstorm: Apocalypse: Racing through a town going through destruction, dodging falling buildings and gun shots all the while running over random civilians, two words: get it!

5. Gran Turismo 5: Taking racing to the next level, faster cars, better tracks and tons of blowout finishes, this is a game that will never get old!

6. Heroes on the Move (Working Title): A game where you can be Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter and Sly Cooper and his friend Bentley and team up to defeat evil villains from those great gaming series'!

7. Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit: With awesome new cars to crash and destroy going though the streets of some city and crashing the police's plans will definitely get some people's attention!

The villains are here! The baddest of the bad, the toughest of the tough, the smallest of the small! Villains coming in all different shapes and sizes! From Captain Qwark, to the Mother Brain, even to DK himself. Some stand out while others slip into the shadows (which also is the loser shadows). The ones that stand out for me were my fearsome four! Darth Vadar: Umm, does "I am your father" ring a bell? The Joker: "Want to see a magic trick?" Bowser: RARARARARARA! and Captain Qwark: Qwarktastic! Make a bracket before Aug. 26th then vote for your favorites! Villains will fight for your votes and this is going to be one epic showdown you don't want to miss! :D

Fat Princess has always been a game I have heard about: my friend has it, the videos about the game look awesome, just cool gameplay but I am not sure about it... Should I get it or not...

Pros: Epic battles, cool classes, teamwork, online, a game I would spend my money on

Fat Princess seems like a fun game with its battles and teamwork and is a game I would play but I am just not sure. Comment reasons why I should or should not get it please?

Hey guys, Hammstray here! Got a couple of updates about my life.

First off, I want to wish my dad a happy birthday (you share your birthday with the president...),

Second off, tomorrow I am going on vacation till next Monday,

and finally (duh duh duuuuh)

Third, tomorrow morning I am getting braces, ugh...

As weird as it sounds, there can be hardcore gamers. How you ask? Well for us PS3 gamers and X Box 360 gamers, we don't notice how good of games the Wii actually has. The Super Mario Galaxy games are entertaining, puzzling and exciting all at once! They have challenging one-on-one battles in SSBB which challenge you to think ahead and how to use moves in a good combo. Wii also has FPS games that are more realistic than PS3 or X Box 360 games because you are using motion controllers. Wii may look lame on the outside but the inside is what counts. I was looking for one hardcore gamer on the Wii and many people qualify for that roll. One person, AlmightyDerek, who had a good point:

There are plenty of hardcore games on the Wii. These topics are annoying and I'm not sure why I bother posting. I typically play my Wii about 2 hours a day I guess. Sometimes I don't play it at all and sometimes I'll play it for about 6 hours (like right after SMG2 came out). The last game I played that consumed lots of time was Sin and Punishment: Star Successor and of course before that Super Mario Galaxy 2 in which I've probably played for over 30 hours at least getting 219 stars so far.

I chose him because he has the ability to be one. He knows how to control himself with playing it and not take over his life, but plays it a fair amount of time and, if Wii had trophies, tries to get all the trophies for each game and play it all the way through. Go AlmightyDerek. I conclude Wii can have hardcore gamers like (almost) every system can have...

The Wii. To some people, a great success! It has Super Mario Galaxy and the sequel coming out soon, SSBB, Zelda, Wii Fit (+ the Plus version), Motion sensor things, etc. To some, it stinks! Lame games, no Halo Modern Warfare or LittleBigPlanet, etc. I am trying to figure out something: Can you be a hardcore gamer on a Wii? The questions I pose to the public are: how many hours do you play on the Wii, name 5 games that you play if you think you are hardcore and (the final question) are you hardcore on the Wii and why? I will be posting these questions on the Wii forum so be sure to check it out and I will be posting if you can be hardcore on the Wii. Until then, I am Hammstray, signing out!

Gaming is a big part of most of our lives. While we are not sleeping, eating, sleeping some more, or going to school or work, we are gaming (for the most part). Game is described (in the Webster dictionary) as "Activity engaged in for diversion or amusement." I agree with that but I would like to substitute my own: "A duty which calls all different types of people to stand up and fight for what's right!" ~Hammstray. I have yet to become a hardcore gamer. Less than 100 trophies on the Playstation 3 and no platinums (for now) but this blog, hopefully, I will continue to the best of my ability to give you guys my journey in to hardcoreness!
