I think MW2 has a chance to get a really high score. The universal complaint about cod4 was that the campaign was too short. If they produce a good and long single player mode, it should be reviewed well, because we all know the online will be great.

If modern warfare 2 got below a 7, there would have to be something terribly wrong with it. And no I've never played monster hunters.

My brother loves MH, put hundreds of hours into it..I think there alright i played it for a good 13 hours.

Reviews have never, not one time in my life, impacted my interest in a game. It's very simple: If I have interest in a game, I'm going to buy it. I'm going to buy it whether it's the lowest scored game, lowest hyped game, or slammed on the forums.

If mw2 got below a 7, I wouldn't buy it, I'd just wait a week for Assassin's Creed. However, there is no way that's going to happen. I could see this game getting a 9.5. Cod4 got a 9 and mw2 looks like it's added a lot, so I will be buying it.
