It solves bugs that can potentially happen, just because nothing went wrong for you doesnt eliminate risk of other gamers meeting them, and so a patch is sent to every connected console to resolve POTENTIAL bugs and glitches
It'll be a patch that fixes minor bugs and errors that can occur in the game, technically it's not necessary as you can play the game as it is if you're not connected to the net...
but it's a far better idea to install it, it doesnt take long
I'm not a particularly angry gamer, I do get frustrated at times with regard to unreal difficulty curves and I also find video games to be overpriced, but otherwise I'm pretty content.
Looks great to me, definitely going to be taken into consideration, but it mightn't be a first day purchase just because I've no idea whether I'll have the money to fund it.
Some of the criticisms given so far have been ridiculously harsh,
as it happens I've been playing Nuts & Bolts recently, and I think it's a very enjoyable title, definately keeps some of the Rare charm, not that it compares with the original Banjo Kazooie.
As for Viva Pinata I have yet to sample it, but I cant see any reason for it to be as badas people here are claiming
