my friend recently got a ps3 for his birthday, and his brother got a 360 for christmas. with his brothers 360 came XBLA, and my friend got blast factor for his ps3. they are both extrelmely similar, but slightly different.

geometery wars:

- no levels, just get the highest score possible

- bombs

- no special way yo bribe the enemies somewhere

- shapes

- old school and rework in the same game

blast factor:

- levels, depending on how well you do on a level, something new can happen in the next level

- sort of... outward bast that hurts enemie... not quite the same effect as a bomb, but its unlimited

- tilt to push all the enemies to a certain side of the arena

- parasites

- just a new game

both have the same control scheme:

left analog: move your thingy

right analog: shoot your weapon in the direction you want

2 very similar and great games. i just wanted to know which one everyone thinks is better. i personnally enjoy blast factor more.

The old is not supposed to outsell the new. The PS1 didn't outsell the PS2 after the PS2 came out for a few months. Fact is the 360 is a flop sales wise but is the best game wise.AHUGECAT

I have a few questions about it. Wasn't it suppose to be called Revolution? And why they change it to the wii? How come there's not a lot of rated M gameson it? Theres like very few shooters and fighting on it(im not 100% sure)

revolution was the temp name. they changed the name because they didnt want their system to be called revolution. nintendo has never really been about m. and there wiull be shooters and fighters (including hands down the successor to the best fighting games ever.... ssbb).

I swear that has got to be one of the most generic names for a videogame ever. It sounds like they randomly generated it from a dictionary of fantasy stereotypes.
