I laughed my booty off when he pronounced his new name, but I feel bad for him, because he is just as good, IMO, as Eddie in the ring. He can do a wicked headscissors especially. However, Eddie is obviously much better on the mic. I think Chavo would have been fired except for the fact that WWE probably had to acknowledge that he is a hell of a wrestler. This guy could have tremendous feuds with Shelton, Angle, and other good wrestlers, but unfortunately they're going to throw him into a pile of crap.

Well who is gonna join me this Fall to watch TNA on Spike.

ive never seen TNA but i think it will be better Then WWE hell the Worst night in ECW ( was there ever one? ) is still better then the last 5 years of the WWE.

DuckSol

I'll watch both....The day i'll stop watchin WWE is the day that raw consists of 2 matches and 1 hour n 45 min of divas....

Agreed. I've seen Vince push TL Hopper and The Good and Repo Man, so I know it's been much much worse than it is now.

So true. Just pick up a book by R.D. Reynolds called Wrestlecrap. Not the most well-written, but extremely funny. It will remind any fan of how bad it can really be. I was slightly saddened by the loss of Charlie Haas, mainly because I thought he was every bit as good as Shelton Benjamin. He really was, but he just never got the push, and i don't know why, perhaps he was crappy backstage. Anyways, some of this is good news, I mean, Mordecai really was not any good, and Mark Jindrak, while athletic, was not a great wrestler. Also, Kenzo Suzuki is gone, and I never thought he had anything to add. I understand why VInce fires people, but it's just odd how he chooses them, but I trust that he would know better than us.

I see Brock as a better champion then JBL. I'd like to see Brock vs Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship.Pack_Man

Talk about a physical match. I don't see Brock jobbing too much. He started out pretty much on top, and I think the WWE knows that jobbing him would not help them. The guy would definitely need to be on Smackdown, though my question would be, besides the obvious Batista, who else would he feud with? The Eddie Guerrero feud was weak, IMO.

[QUOTE="keiblerfan69"]bump for raiden300raiden300

cheers . lol . i actually looked for an existing thread on this before opening my other one but couldnt see one. need to look harder next time. anywho heres my thoughts

im seriously annoyed with this round of cuts. they have let some really talented guys go and we all know its only to fund the stupid diva search so we can have another mindless bimbo with big boobs parading around raw every week. kidman and spike in particular i hate to see go. yet the WWE insist on pushing retards like JBL who while good on the mic cannot wrestle , when its guys like kidman who can actually wreslte that they should be trying to develop. its for reasons like this im watching TNA more and more because while they have their issues they respect their talent and dont just focus on guys like jeff jarret who is a poor wrestler but a great heel character

Amen to that. Why release Kidman? talk about technically awesome! I can only surmise that the whole cruiserweight division is next, because Chavo is now on Raw, and besides Kidman, he was really the only major headliner. Paul London is still not known well enough by the mainstream fans, and I feel like his days are numbered. After all, who does he have to wrestle? Eddie and Rey don't compete for the cruiserweight championship, at least not recently, so he's left all alone. Oh well.

Though not technically a wrestler's book, Wrestlecrap is a great book. It's by R.D. Reynolds. 8.5/10. Great book. Hilarious content, and makes you wonder why you really are a wrestling fan.
