@simplytheebest: Im fully aware of the 4K selection and the fact is the library pales in comparison to whats offered on BR and DVD. Some of the more prominent releases like the recent X-men are released in 4K but its not a standard.

Why buy Star Wars 3D when you can by the 4K version for more? Bc most people dont have the extra equipment to utilize 4K (or 3D for that matter) which is why the standard releases always sell the most.

And physical media will always be of better quality than streaming but guess what? That means diddly squat to most people. Its a fact that physical sales are declining. Trust and believe you do not make up the majority. Most arent jumping over 4K media

@simplytheebest: No you'd just be "wasting" that money on the cost of an external. The fact is the XB1S and PS4 Pro (there is no such console called PS4.2) arent fair comparisons anyway. The console is significantly more powerful than the XB1S which is attributes to that increased cost. Its not merely bc it has 500gb more

I stand by my statement that its a nonfactor for most gamers. 4K blu-rays are still in its infancy, the content isnt there and for releases that do have it, the sales are extremely low in comparison to standard BRs and DVDs. Physical sales as a whole are on a decline as the trend over the past several years has been moved towards streaming, which is how most people today watch media content
